I do not know how thats going to help us. I guess you are thinking that while VSC is still working on remaining sept and october, CSC will start working on Nov. I know someone filed at VSC in Sept and got an RFE in march. That person has not heard back from them yet.

It will help because CSC processes faster and also they finish their month cases completely. Meaning they will want to get us out of the way and they rarely have cases more than 6 months old, as of VSC still have pending cases from August and even July(which is horrible). My BF got transferred to Cali and she got approved within 2 month, which with the VSC processing times as of right now to me seems impossible. They are just beyond slow and beyond the line of dragging the process and making it so painful for all applicants.

Hello everyone,
After 7 months and 2 weeks we received by mail this morning 4/27 an RFE dated April 24, 2015.

What they have ask for :

Children’s Birth certificate – We don’t have children together.

A Mortgage, lease or rent in both names – We live rent and mortgage free due to my ex-husband paying the mortgage as his part of the child support for our son we had together .
( Question ) Can I write a paper saying my ex pays the mortgage as child support and that we live here and have my ex have it notarized and send that? Thoughts on this and Ideas how to write this please.

Checking and savings account Statements – I sent all checking from the beginning of our marriage in the package. We have no saving account. I guess I’ll send them from the remaining time since sending the package.

Insurance policy statements – I sent car insurance statements, I guess I will send more

Health insurance policies – Don’t have health insurance

Joint Taxes – Didn’t file taxes because we didn’t earn enough to be required to file a return

( Question) Starting a new job next week should I include a check stub when I receive it?

I had included all check stubs and w2 form from the previous job with the original package.

Also for the past 4 months I have earned $1500 cash, Can I file a tax return for this money now? So I can include a joint tax return in this new package?

Utility Bills – I sent copies of these in original package ( Gas, Power & Water) , guess I’ll send more.

Joint installment of loans or credit cards – We don’t have these either. Thank God. I sent copy of car title and registration with original package.

A Will, a trust or a durable power of attorney for health care or property or both – I can have a Will written no problem with that. Are there any websites to make a Will for Free?

Affidavits from third parties who have knowledge of your marital relationship. An affidavit should be supported by documentary evidence and must be sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known about you and your spouse.

I sent 2 letters from people we knew in the original package.

( Question) Do they mean these have to be notarized with witnesses? The letters I sent weren’t notarized just written letters signed by , dated with place of birth and date of birth from our friends.

I sent some mail with our names on them and it said the evidence was inconclusive towards the bona fides of your marriage.

The letter said these were considered supplementary and do not carry sufficient weight:

I checked the USCIS website and it wasn’t updated there just got the RFE in the mail. 

Feeling overwhelmed at the moment and a little sad because we have been together since 2008 and were married in August 2011. Really these things don’t make a lot of sense.

I got a RFE a few weeks ago and sent the package back last week - I decided to send anything and everything with our names on it - we don't have children, so it was just using advice from here that helped me. I included a Power of Attorney, all bank statements, insurance policies, cards that we had sent to each other, flight information to show we went away together, any hotel reservations. I did get another affidavit but this time I had it notorised so it held a bit more importance. Trying to remember what else we sent - we did the Tax Returns but that doesn't help.

Good Luck - I know it's stressful but you will be fine! I haven't heard anything yet but feeling positive!

So my thoughts on some points of the RFE

Checking and savings account Statements send it again

Joint Taxes you cannot file now, but you can send them the total of all the paystubs you and your husband have from 2014 and show then the amount is less than the required state amount to file taxes. You can do the same for 2013

Affidavits from third parties who have knowledge of your marital relationship. a So USCIS is saying the affidavits are not as strong as the other documents, but still send them 2-3.

Everything else that you have sent them the first time send it again.

Do you guys have state medical insurance? If you do send it if not tell you guys dont make enough money to be able to afford insurance

Send them pictures like 200-300 hundred. They want prove you guys are together, show them. I have a friend of mine who sent them almost 500 pictures LOL Her husband thought she was pushing it. I guess she was LOL

Send them all you can find. I would say things as is as far as living in the house paid by your ex husband. Nothing fishy about that. If you do not hear back from them by August...go ahead and file N 400. That will push them to make a decision in your favor.

My card got approved today!!!! I am really shocked because my case was really complicated. I lived 2000 miles away from my wife during the entire marriage and ended up getting divorce. I didn't even get an RFE. In a state of shock right now! Here is some more detail on my case if anyone is interested.

Hi guys! good news for me, I just recieved my new green card

I have a question for those, who got theirs,

does your middle name initial is written next to your first name on it? I didn't have this initial on my conditional green card at all (only first and last names), but it is here on 10 year one, is it a mistake, or OK?

My card got approved today!!!! I am really shocked because my case was really complicated. I lived 2000 miles away from my wife during the entire marriage and ended up getting divorce.
