Do they send any notifications regarding to when they receive our reply to rfe? Change any status at all or anything or do We just hope they recieved it?

I don't think they usually change the status when they receive a response to RFE. However I have seen some people saying that "they saw that their response was received by a person". I don't know where they see that. Perhaps by tracking their mail?

My friend, I know I will be the last. I am divorced and lived apart from my wife while we were married as she was going to college in a different city. On top of that my attorney did a bad job at telling me what documentation should I submit. So even my documentation is weak. It's my fault though. I shouldn't have left everything on the attorney. I should have researched this website and submitted solid documentary evidence. Approval is miles away from me. I am actually just waiting for my RFE to arrive lol :)

I'm checking my status on the uscis website and it's saying,

  • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information."

Has anyone called to find out what that means?

I leave the country a week from tomorrow and it's making me nervous. I will be traveling to Mexico for vacations and it looks like I will have to bring my extension letter along with my expired GC.

My guts tell me that this week is the special week full of approvals. However my guts is typically wrong though :( Im checking the website every 3-4 days, no update yet. I wish uscis could send us weekly status update through email... So we knew for sure what is the case status every week.

I called the office and they said that since I'm out outside the processing time, they opened an inquiry case file for me and said that I have to wait for 30 days after which they'll submit another inquiry if nothing happens. I don't know what this means. Does anyone know?

Hi guys, I've been following this post but never replied. I'm a September filer also and I started to check the website everyday since late March. Today it shows " Card was ordered to be produced!" I'm so relieved now!!

I think we will get more approvals this week! Best of luck to all of you.

Oh btw, i didn't get any text message or email.

Here is my timeline

I called yesterday and they said the same thing. I think it means they will contact us soon and tell us our status. If in another 30 days, we still haven't heard from then, we can submit another inquiry.

I just rang again to be told that they won't know any further details about my case and that I need to call back in a month's time to submit an inquiry on my case!! It's so frustrating!
