Does anyone know how long the rfe process usually takes if it's approved? How about if it's denied what will happen?

Some people got approval within a week of responding to RFE. Others took few months. My guess is that you will hear something within a month or two. They usually don't directly deny the application after RFE. If they have doubts, they may send more RFE or schedule an interview. If after interview, they still want to deny it, they will send a Notice of Intent to Deny(NOID) and they will tell you why they want to deny your application. They will give you some time (three weeks I believe) to respond to the notice to rebut their findings. If they are satisfied with your response, they will approve the case otherwise they will deny it. So they do actually give you a lot of chances to prove that your marriage is genuine before denying the application.

Jaymdensing. They do not deny it like that. Burden is on them to prove that you got married no in good faith. They might keep asking for more information before such a decision is made.

I think it is incorrect to assume that burden is on USICS to prove that marriage was not in god faith. The burden is actually on applicant to prove that it was in good faith. If you don't provide enough evidence to establish that, USCS can deny your case. They have the discretionary power to do that. Therefore it is very important to provide solid evidence. But these are just my opinion. More knowledgeable members, please correct me if I am wrong.
