Hello, everyone. Finally my NOA made it here. It dated September 30th

I wont be getting a biometrics appointment letter, so just waiting for approval now. My receipt number won't work on uscis tracking page by the way for some reason...

  • Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the application receipt number.

Still no biometrics app. I called USCIS and was told that case is still pending in their system but they have no information about biometrics. I was told they can't currently transfer me to any tier 2 officers, but since it's been over a month after NOA1 and no biometrics appointment received they can put service request about this appointment. So now I have service request ref. number and have to wait for 15 days for response in the mail.

I received my wife's biometrics on October 13th, a day before the appointment. Ridiculous. I am glad I decided to check the mail a second time that day. Our appointment was for the 14th if someone can update us. Things like this are going to make us a wreck. We are moving at the end of this month and with the track record that the postal service has with us after losing her green card for a month, USCIS not processing change of address for months, now this, I am not sure what to do. The RFs have a month to be responded to correct? If the letters are not sent registered mail how can USCIS even know we received it.

Hey buddy,

You need to call USCIS and request a case number since the original receipt number will not work. Originally you'd get a bio appointment and on that you would have the case number that can work online, but since your bio is current, you won't be getting that invitation, thus you have to separately request that over phone! God luck! :)

I had an InfoPass appointment today to get a passport stamp (I had trouble renewing my driving license) and was asked if I'd like to do early biometrics ... so of course I did.

Please could someone update? Early bio 10/16/2014. Thanks!

Biometrics completed today at the Charlotte NC location and it took 1 hour. Last time we were there it took only 20 minutes. Happy that is over with :)

You call 'em and they'll send a request and in 15 days hopefully you'll hear back from them. I'm in the same boat as you are...just requested it, and waiting for the infamous 15 days...:(

But how do I know if my biometrics are current or not? It's been like 28-29 months since my last biometrics.
