Anyone with experience going through Lagos Embassy with a K2 child that was interviewed? What do they typically ask the child? Is the child always interviewed together with the parent or do they every separate them and interview the child alone? In this case, child is age 14 with a joint interview appointment on the same day. Child will follow to join. Trying to prepare my fiance for what to expect on interview day. Thank you.

Their biggest interest is if the child is really the child of the claimed parent and if they can answer some basic questions ( like have you met your new mom ( to be ) before )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Thanks, NigeriaorBust. That should be simple then. We have met more than once, during my trips there and have already included those pictures as proof, plus spoken on the phone multiple times. And he will bring evidence of his relationship with child with him because I gave him a heads up on that. Thank you.

With God, all things are possible.

IT is sad that the amount of fraud that is so common there gets into every interview by making things that should be simple become so difficult. But all will go well Make sure he has permission from the bio mom if she is still alive. It will make things smoother

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
