UK Embassy Waiting on Packet 4

Ok this is a sanity check.

Is there anybody out there who sent in their packet 3 to the London embassy either before 4th December or shortly after and who filed through Nebraska/California and who STILL haven't had their packet 4 sent to them with their interview date?

I sent mine 4th Dec, I've spoken to the Embassy twice and they have told me my case status is "Eligible for Interview" but that they have not scheduled a date for me yet.

I just wanted to know if there was anyone else out there who had filed around the same time and hadn't heard back from them either. I know there are at least half a dozen other lucky couples who filed after me and who have gotten their interview dates. When I put this to the Embassy they just said they had been "very fortunate".

Any other "unfortunates" out there?

Not recruiting so much as to trying to find out if its just us that's been waiting this long! Yes I am convinced I am just paranoid and yes I am convinced it will turn up sometime soon.

But it would make me feel a whole load better if I could hear from other people who are in exactly the same boat

Oh I remember how that feels. London started slowing down back in August, and seems to have continued to do so since. Dunno whats going on over there, they used to do things in a reasonable time. Hopefully all the workers are getting back off their holidays and things will pick up soon.

It will all be over before you know it. We still have these moments when one or the other of us grins and states.....you/I am really here. In a matter of months you will be in the same boat and will have forgotten all of this stuff.
