No they don't send it to the wrong place. He is giving you very wrong info.

It can take as long as 8 weeks to get to your Consulate. All you can do now is sit back and wait.

I think I read somewhere on here that there was a mix up and a batch did get sent to the wrong place. Not everyone thought, just a few small batch.

My petition took 3 weeks to get to the Embassy, and I think 30 days is the official wait time they say it should get to the NVC. Good Luck.

Can somebody tell me why our case status shows "AT NVC" for 5 days after we got the number?! I'm so worried,why it takes so long time to ferward it to my embassy? I saw here usually it takes at least two-tree days to show" IN TRANSIT",but ours stuck At NVC!?

Hi everybody! I hope you can help me.. should i call NVC 2 weeks after my approval date at USCIS website or after i receive the NOA2 in the mail?
