That's ok,you don't need to be sorry!

unfortunately we are still at the NVC but it's only one week after our approval, think we will call them next Monday,i guess they didn't assign it yet.

But as about case statue,I guess it depends really because of the Center!

Any way, keep my fingers crossed hope to hear smth soon.

Wish you good luck with the embassy.

Thanks

It took me just a week and when I called they had assigned me a case number already. A few days later it was sent off and the status changed at DHS as "READY". You are not far behind me. I just scheduled an interview date with the embassy on their calendar and my fiancé will be submitting the DS-160 online as soon as I get a chance to proof it. You can never not have enough eyes to catch anything. We want to hear those magical words, "You're approved!"

Thanks for the well wishes...now I'm getting so excited I can barely function!

Hey Inna and Chris our Visa was approved by TSC on the same day 6/30/14 and we are both in Ukraine. I am going to call Wednesday to the NVC to see if they have recieved our paperwork yet. I am not sure if you recieved anything but we got a notice from TSC that they sent our approval to NVC on Wednesday 7/2/14. It has been adventure so far, and we are both ready for her to move here.

So when I call and finally get my case number, can I start booking the medical, doing the online and readiness form or do I have to wait until it arrives at the embassy?

Also how long does it generally take from when you get the notification till the NVC receives it? I don;t have the time to wait on hold for 45 minutes everyday. I may try again Wednesday.

Removal of Conditions

4/10/17 - i751 sent

4/13/17 - i751 received

5/3/17 - Check Cashed

Once you have your case #, schedule the Interview first and foremost so you know when it is and so you can do everything you need to do in between (give yourself enough time).

Look at my timeline.

Hey nice to meet somebody here with the same approval date! we haven't receive any notice from them beside our approval NOA2, so now I'm started worried, maybe they still keep it over there? But that's good to know that you gonna call NVC on Wednesday,so please keep me posted what they will tell you, maybe you will get your number and if yes, we will call as well!

Good luck to you, hope to hear some good news abt our both processes

Sooooo, what the heck?

Do I fill out DS-160? or DS-230? what is the difference?

I have two sources that state two different things:

One source:

IMMIGRANT VISA ELECTRONIC APPLICATION (DS-230 and DSP-122)

Please see the instructions for completing DS-230: Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration and DSP-122: Supplemental Registration For the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program.

http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Supplemental/TBL%20-%20Tbilisi.pdf

and another source:

NONIMMIGRANT VISA ELECTRONIC APPLICATION (DS-160) AND CONFIRMATION PAGE.

All K visa applicants should review application instructions and complete the Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic

Application (DS-160) located on this website: travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1315.html. You must print the DS-160 Confirmation Page that contains the barcode information to bring to your interview.

Help!

I got my Case Number yesterday and CEAC said "AT NVC."

I check it today and now it says

"In Transit"

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

What does this mean? What do I do? I already have a scheduled interview?! I do not want to schedule it yet because we have to talk about a good time

You dont do anything! Your embassy will email you when they get it along with your interview date. (Depending on your country) for us this was the longest waiting time. NOA2 took 11 days to be approved, 2 weeks to get our interview date which was in 2 months time.

Where are you from? Research timelines to see how long your country normally wait for interview dates.
