Fresh Idea: June 2014 NOA2 Approvals

I went to check on DHS for my case status update and it says its "READY"!!!!! WOW! I was so surprised! From reading what that means from VJ, my case is in the Embassy's hands now and we are waiting for a letter/packet 3 from them so my fiancé can fill it out and submit it to them!

It's going so amazingly fast and I pray that it continues to be smooth sailing throughout the rest of the paperwork there too! Good luck to everyone!

I already sent all the paperwork to her. I got the NVC letter today. Do I need to send that to beneficiary?

Just called NVC our petition is still not in their system!!! Was told he can take up to 3 to 5 weeks. So more waiting I guess!!

I believe the 3 to 5 weeks or 4 to 5 weeks are just their general bs they quote to keep us from calling everyday, but I will still call everyday until they receive our petition. Lol!!!

Again, very easy to go through, first try, not sure how people have problems. Maybe they fixed that problem?

Just called again very easy to get through I agree I believe they fixed that problem or maybe because I am calling as soon as they open. Lol!!! Anyway we got our case number. Yeah!!!! I am sooooo happy. I did not tell my fiancée as of yet she will be sooooo happy. Maxzim you should receive your case number soon!!!! Yeah!!! Now we wait for the petition to be forwarded to Manila!!!

Nice, congrats! Well, I have a hope lol. USCIS sent yours one day before mine. so hopefully tomorrow i will get a case number:) Keep us posted how long it will take them to forward it to the embassy. Do you know by chance how do they contact Beneficiary? or where they send package 3? I heard some cases it is an e-mail address, which i do not recall providing anywhere for my finacee. it has My e-mail address but not hers.

Yes I believe you should receive it tomorrow. I really hope so!!! As far as I know the embassy will mai her a packet explaining what documents she will need for her interview and explanation on how to schedule her interview and medical.

I was also told that when I receive either an email from NVC or a letter from them in the mail, she can schedule her medical and interview with either letter.

GOT MY CASE NUMBER. Holy cow so excited. Guy who helped me was super nice and professional.

Also my question got answered - Where will US Embassy e-mail package 3 to? Guy in NVC asked if i wanted to add an e-mail on file for my finacee. I SAID YESS. so i guess that's how they are going to send it to her:)

Now we wait for our petition to leave NVC. My fiancee already paid for her visa application/interview and completed her DS-160. Now we have to wait for the embassy to mail or email my fiancée her packet. NVC also verified her email address as well. Right now the u.s. embassy in manila is backed up with so many visa applicants they have not open any interview slots for August as of yet. So we continue to play the waiting game. Lol!!!!

I e-mailed US Embassy and asked how they are going to send package 3. Via mail or e-mail. They responded and told me to contact NVC about this. weird. Anyway, I think since her e-mail is on file now, they should be able to send it via e-mail as some countries do that I know and pretty sure Gerogia can send out an e-mail too.

Maybe I will contact NVC tomorrow again to double check that and bug them a bit more to hurry up. LOL.

I am not sure if you got the answer to your question, but I will answer it anyway lol!! Yes you will need to forward that letter to your fiancee.

Our petition just left NVC today and on the website our status says in transit!!! Woo woo everything is moving smoothly so far!!!
