I-175 package returned for revision of date??

confused about the date mistake.

and our packet was returned with this message...

The Form I-175 you submitted has been revised. You must submit the Form I-175 with a Revision date of 4/11/13

No other info was provided in regards to what date on the form they are asking us to revise. I can only assume they mean the marriage date, but our marriage was on 4/13/11.

My question is should I change the marriage date to their revised date? or do they mean the date where we sign the form? Any ideas?

Do you mean the I-751 form?

It sounds like you submitted an older version of the I-751 form that is no longer accepted. You need to make sure you use the most current version by downloading it directly from the USCIS website.

You need to send the most updated I751 form. If you printed it out months ago in preparation for the ROC, it may have changed in the mean time. I downloaded the form years ago in my excitement about the ROC process only to realize the form was outdated.

You used an expired form. Get the latest one from the USCIS website and resubmit.

That's exactly what they mention. Always check the forms date on the top right corner...it should tell you when it expires...

Sounds kind of petty, but not only with the USCIS, other government agencies have to deal with are exactly the same way. Even though some forms have not changed in the last 30 years, go by that government printing date in the lower left hand corner you practically need a powerful magnifying glass to read.

Of course the latest trend is they don't supply these forms anymore, have to download them and print them out yourself, and can be critical as what you use to print them out. Without a computer and a 600 DPI printer, will be dead. This is our government!
