kinda off- topic but,

has anyone seen the MTV cribs of Hugh Hefner? He has like 7 live in girlfriends! He also has this room in his mansion and the floor is made entirely of mattress. Its called the "game" room.

Im aware that these girls are the bunnies, and highly paid models, but it seems like they just like to be one of hughs intimate girlfriends. I wonder if they are paid to be his girlfriends? Wouldnt that make them career prostitutes, Or are they just paid for the modeling and just enjoy being hughs girlfriends?

Well, as an Air Force member, I can tell you it's not about censoring. As a member of the Armed Forces, you're expected to present a professional image because you represent your respected service whether you realize it or not. Sorry, I'm not usually the company guy, but in this case, SSgt Manhart knew what she was doing. She fully realized the consequences and knew it wouldn't go over well with the Air Force. That's just how it works...if you've never been in the military, perhaps you're not going to understand. She chose to do this knowing what would happen...it's a non-story. There is no injustice or censorship here. In that spread it ties her to the U.S. Air Force. It's the same reason we can't represent attend or associate yourself with t he Air Force while going to a protest.

With that said, I enjoyed the pictures.

Oh, btw, Steven, there is no such thing as an "Airwoman"...she'd be a female Airman. Airman is a rank.

Honestly, thinking about this, I'm pretty surprised that most women in this thread applaud her move. To me, that's sort of a slap to all the women in the military's past that have fought to not be objectified. Women can now be fighter pilots, can go into combat and a host of other jobs that they once could not do. Artful or not, something like this certainly doesn't aid their plight or help them in any way...whether they were good looking enough to do this or not.

That's a good point. But I guess at least at this point she had the choice to be objectified. She should still be able to expect to be respected and treated as a human being in the AF. I mean, if she still had her job there.

I think it's kinda sad to be a woman fighting her way thru the Air Force, fighting to prove she's just as good as the men to go and pull a stunt like this because she wants to be objectified for her body. If she wanted to be a nude model, she should have done so...but to involve the AirForce in a nude pictorial is just wrong.

She set women Airmen back many years by this silly stunt. I'm sure it served her purpose, but for her to contend that the Air Force doesn't have a very valid point is, quite frankly, ridiculous.

What a bad way to tarnish a good career!
