Hi there! I entered the US on June 3rd. I know there will be at least 3 months until I can even think of receiving my Green card.... But I'm not sure how to check the status of my case. I mean, whats my case status number? and in which website am I able to check it?

Anyone please?

Should be around 2 months. You can check on the ELIS site using same login details as you used to pay your USCIS immigrant fee. It will have that receipt number there. It probably says "accepted" in the balloon at the moment. At some stage, probably 6-8 weeks after entry, that will change to "optimized". That means production has started. At that stage you can put your ELIS receipt number (starts with IOE) in the USCIS case status tracker (link at bottom of ELIS page, receipt number won't show up there till optimized) and that will then give you more detail as to where in producing/mailing process you are.

If nothing has happened within 3 months give them a call or make an infopass appointment.
