Hello Everyone,

I hope this post is not too late. YES you can expedite for military circunstances. You just need to follow the guidelines and make it happen. Please let me know if you still need help with this so I can help you out. I had expedite twice already and always get succesfull results. I can provide you with an example of letter also.

Last time I expedited I received a response in 5 days. They mailed me with NOA within 24 hours.

Hey hey

I just recently found after we got the NOA2 about an expedite process I hope its not too late.

My husband is military and if been anxious the last 6 months and hoped and prayed that my husband won't get deployed since he was and still is in his deployment window and doesnt have orders yet. So I m not sure if we get the expedite. My husband is been trying to contact the NVC by calling and emailed nothing so far.

I ve been doing a lot of research on here which helped us a lot so far I m very thankful.

Just not much about the expedite process. Advice and help please :content:

Hi,

Yes, I do need help with expediting my Adjustment of Status application. My USC military spouse is currently deployed.

My local office is Dallas which is moving extremely slowly right now. (8-10 months behind)

I've already done my fingerprints and my case moved to "testing and interview" but I don't know how long it will be in that category.

Do you know anything about how to expedite the interview? Also, yes, any help with the letter would be helpful.

Thank you!!!

07/31/2014 AOS packet including I485, I130, I131, 1765 fedexed by lawyer to Chicago Lockbox

Ask him to check with his CO and if the CO can make a letter explaining possible deployment. Hopefully that is good enough to expedite your petition. Without actual orders, next best thing is the CO letter.

You can be interviewed without him, you just need to bring a photocopy of his orders during the interview. Call the military helpline and they should put in a service request for you to have an expedite I believe.

Thanks for the response. I need the expedite because I can't join my spouse in another country until I have my green card in hand and Dallas is taking forever. I will keep you guys posted on my expedite request.

You can't put an expedite on case number. You get your case number in the order NVC decides you get it.

Apart from that, you'll need to call them up and tell them you want to expedite. They'll give you the email and what information you need to provide. Military orders are enough. Once you get your case number then they'll work on your expedite request, everything should move fairly quick after that. Good luck

Is he stationed in Korea or deployed to Korea. It's two different things.

He would still only send the I-130 package to start.

Then request the expedite.

Then it would be forwarded to the NVC if approved

Then you have to request another expedite (or not... as needed.)
