Hey!

I'm a little confused here. My aunt is applying to bring her sister to the US, she's a USC.

How come to file the I-130 for siblings you don't need to file a G-325A along with it according to the guide on here?

What happens after the visa becomes current (maybe in 10 years)? Do you need to contact NVC? Or they contact the sponsor or the immigrant when it becomes current?

Thank you very much!

no need for the G325A

the wait for now is over 12 years, NVC will contact his sister after the priority date becomes current to start the second part of the process

Hi,

The G-325A is not required for when a USC petitions for a sibling. The G-325A is simply not used.

When the PD is about to be current in 12 years, the NVC will contact the petitioner to pay the fees for the I-864 and visa applications. At that time, your family will provide their current information to obtain the immigrant visa.
