Yay..finally got approved for both applications..what's next?

No application for anything has been approved. You filed petitions, the second of which slowed down the approval of the first. Next they will both go to the National Visa Center where the waste of filing the I-129F will culminate it its execution by banishment to a dark corridor never to be seen again.

Time to learn the NVC process for the immigrant visa process. K3 died several years ago but its image is well preserved on out of date web pages.

~~~ moved to K3 progress reports from IR1/CR1 process and procedures as OP is on the K3 path and is updating the case~~~
You need to start calling the NVC in a few weeks to find out which case gets a number first. That will determine if you can continue on the K3 route or if the NVC stops it.
(You can choose of course to wait for the I-130 to get the case number and get the CR1 visa instead of the K3.)
Not sure where you're getting this idea the OP is actually on a path that will lead to a K3. I get that it was there intention but what are the chances, really? When did you last see two petitions approved on the same day, with the I-129F not being dead on arrival at NVC? IMO, you are leading the OP down a path of disappointment by providing such false hope.
There's been quite a few going through. Even a couple from Canada. It's REALLY odd and I honestly think the USCIS is sending the I-129F before they send the I-130 and the NVC are opening the I-129F sooner than the I-130 packages.
They have both petitions approved, which means they're still on the K3 path, until such a time as the NVC closes the I-129F they have that opportunity, albeit how unlikely and infinitesimal that opportunity is. The thread simply belongs in this sub forum until such a time as they are specifically on the other path, either by force or choice.
I see. Obviously, I don't agree (which doesn't matter) that it belongs here, because what they really need to be doing is getting up to speed on the immigrant visa process they'll be using to get through NVC and on to the Consulate, or at least getting up to speed enough to make a decision what they really want.
On the off chance the I-129F survives, AND they want to proceed with it, there's nothing much they'll need to be doing about that anytime soon, except maybe take a look at an I-134 and DS160 examples.
In any event, it's time to obtain any needed police report(s).
They should be looking at both options to see what could happen in both direction. I completely agree that they should read up on the NVC process (and should have already actually)
We have both the I-129F and I-130 still on process. I-130 is at NVC while our I-129F is at US Embassy in Manila. We have not received any letter or notification from anybody (NVC, USCIS, Embassy) whether one of our applications has been closed. I checked with ceac.state.gov to see our status, I-130 at NVC; I-129F says call the embassy/consular where you believe your paper works are being processed). I called the embassy hotline in Manila, they told me that our I-129F is still valid. We paid the application fee and scheduled for an interview.
Are we heading in the right direction?
if you want the K3 visa, then yes. Follow the K3 guide and then you will follow the K3 adjustment of status guide once you move to the USA.
