it all depends on the kind of visa you will be interview for and the documents you submitted with NVC?

your timeline says IR1/CR1 so I will go by that;

On the 4th page of your instructions packet(Interview letter) notice the codes of the needed documents

for me I was only asked the copy of marriage certificate, medical packet( just carry the envelope no need for the white xray file it will be extra baggage) and a copy of your birth certificate9long one) he tried to ask me for my ds261 i told him we did the ds260 online so he did not bother.

Everything depends on what you submitted at the NVC stage also read the instructions carefully and if I WERE YOU I WOULD GO WITH ALL CIVIL DOCUMENTS

AND EVERYTHING TO PROVE YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS BONAFIDE

People would want to tease you but its left to you!!!

A long form birth certificate is one that has both your parent's names on it.

The birth certificate and marriage certificate should have been sent to the NVC.

You should bring a copy of your petition and visa package and the AOS package if possible

Also bring evidence of a genuine marriage, preferably with proof of having met and spent time together.

I'm also going to move your question to the sub-saharan forum so that you can get the best answers from people who also go through your embassy as every country is different.

~~~moved from IR1/CR1 process and procedures to sub-sahara forum so that OP can get the best information possible about their embassy~~~
Wow the one we sent too has both the mother and father's name but was not extra long.
Then you should be fine.
Short form = no parents names
long form = parents names
It's not the actual length of the document, just whether or not it includes the parents names.
