Traveling on K3 Visa? Help please!

Hi,

My husband has his K3 visa since October and we came to states in Oct and have been living here since then, we filed the AOS and the EAD so he can start working and get his green card, sooooo my question is this..

K3 has M for multiple entries, and one of the reasons we thought it would be better to get married first and do k3 instead of k1, but I think i heard that you cannot travel out of US on the k3 after filing AOS, which does not makes sense since he has multiple entry visa. We are going on a cruise to Cozumel and want o make sure he can get back to US.

It is however entirely possible we will have the EAD by Feb 8th, does that help or meann anything for traveling.. i really thought K3 Mulitiple entry means Travel is fine.

We would have just gone as I never saw or read anything about having to do AP for k3 Mulitiple entry visa.

Anyone no for sure on this??? or have comments ideas or suggestions!!

Travel is fine, tha's the point of the multiple entry, he's fine to vacation outside the US, as long as the K-3 isn't expired.

EAD is for working, and getting ssn#...nothing to do with traveling.
