Interview expedite question

Hi we are planning to apply for interview expedite at NVC, my question is if that's get approved are the NVC is the one will still gonna give us the interview date or we will set it by our self at the U.S Embassy in our country? Any answer is greatly appreciated TIA

Expedite does not mean you get to chose when you will be interviewed. It just means you're applying to speed up the process. They will schedule your interview earlier than expected wait times if approved and inform you as usual. You will still have to wait.

I know that applying for expedite is to speed up the process, what I am asking is that once the expedite is aprroved who's the one who's going the sked? The NVC or Us? i saw somebody expedite their case after getting the case number and they are the one who sked the interview not the NVC, but my situation right now is different cause nvc got my docs, so that's why I'm asking if it's gonna be the same as them or not?

An IR-1/CR-1 does not self schedule the interview, therefore, NVC would schedule the interview.

Manila would set your interview date (or inform you if you have to do it) if you were approved for an expedite through the NVC. They would send all of your information to Manila and you'd have to finish up with them.

Thank u now I know I am having a second thought about this expedite because I heard it's hard to schedule your own interview in manila now. Worried that instead of of having it faster we will wait longer because of getting an interview date.

If the NVC approves the expedite they send it to Manila. If Manila approves the expedite they'll likely schedule you an interview quickly, but they may decide you don't have enough grounds for an expedite and make you wait.

I know that expedites are for real emergency and I know we also need to send them proof. My only concern is about who will set the interview. Anyway thanks for responding
