CEAC still says ready for interview, though dates were updated on June 2,9 and 10....

I called embassy they said they are still processing the passport.

My question is, do they tell you if there's a problem? Because I am a little worried.

Is there any other way of checking my visa status?

Yes they will tell you if there's a problem. Don't think too much into ceac website as it's not very accurate. My case said administrative processing even though the embassy already emailed to say my visa was issued. If they have your passport and they say it's processing then no need to worry

They are still processing your visa. If you did not get a form 221(g), and it sounds like you did not, then you should be find. Relax. Take a deep breath. This will soon be over and your visa will be in your hands. Just a little longer.

If you were not given a 221g at the interview then it is very unlikely there is any issue. Right now things are very slow at the embassy as they are jammed... just relax and be patient.

Make sure your checking under "immigrant visa" under visa type. Also I know when I looked up mines I had two file numbers on the bottom one of them said "issued" and the other said ready for interview. Now they are all correct to say "issued"

Your welcome. But, keep in mind you are going to be your own worst enemy during the process, because you are going to second guess every step.

Like I said.... let the visa run it's course. You or anyone else cannot change the time line. Just my two cents worth. 2059.gif

Mine has 2 files 2 and both says ready but #1 was touched on June 10, and greenbaum is right ourselves is our worst enemy, but I can't help thinking , guessing and being nervous... I guess it's a normal feeling.

Thanks all you guys!
