I just got my package, here is what I got.

The black thing is a blanket. Balloons, folding sun glasses, tattoos, stickers, bottle opener, flag banner and beer cozies.

Ha ha, I couldn't resist going down at lunch and getting a photo of me and the Mountie for the Denver Canada Day thing off that website. Too funny and I would never of known about it if it wasn't for this post. Now I have to get back for the drawing for Whistler, BC weekend getaway at 12:30 that I entered.

July 05, 2017 (Day 00) -  Submitted N400 Application, filed via USPS to Phoenix Lockbox

July 10, 2017 (Day 05) - NOA received

July 12, 2017 (Day 07) -  Check is cashed by USCIS

July 19, 2017 (Day 14) - Biometrics appointment letter mailed

August 02, 2017 (Day 28) - Biometrics appointment at Seattle Field Office

August 28, 2017 (Day 54) - Case is "in line" for an interview"

August 28, 2018 (Day 419) - Interview is scheduled

October 4, 2018 (Day 462) - Citizenship Interview AND Oath (offered same day oath by ISO in Seattle, WA)

You have to sign up to host a party. I've only ever had one person respond to the party so I just do it at home. This year she is hosting it at her house but I signed up anyways.

You should have, there were a few booths set up with free stuff, a drawing for Sarah McLachlin tickets at Red Rocks tonight and some music and a hockey shootout for prizes. Good way to spend the lunch hour downtown. Silly and fun and hey, you could have got a photo taken with the Mountie like I did. Luckily I work right near there so it was easy to walk to it on my lunch hour...

Yeah it really wouldn't have been worth it unless you could just easily walk there as there wasn't a lot. Plus it was basically sit and have lunch in the area, watch the band, hear the funny speech from the mayor of Cherry Creek Village and then just see the 6 tables (one that had those maple syrup cookies I recall as a kid) and that was really about it. Was only from 11:00 until 1:30pm so not long at all...

My husband had our own mini party & made homemade poutine. I went to a new food place last night, they sell fries & mixed drinks. I was sitting eating and my husband looked at the menu and was like LOOK!!! On their menu under 'specialty items' they had 'CANADIAN POUTINE' I was way too excited...we are hopefully going to try it tomorrow, since my husband doesn't work.
