Well the site is up and running again for those who want to go to a party or sign up for one.

This is the 5th year I've signed up, love getting the little goodies from them. I met another Canadian who happen to live just a few blocks away from me. We are now great friends.

BTW if you want to do something but are nervous about ppl comming to your home you can set the party at a local park it does not need to be at your home. It can be an easy meet up, or BBQ heck I only ever had one person come and it turned out great.

We both sign up so we can get the party packs.

It changes some. I've got Tim Hortons coffee, a t-shirt, bottle opener, corkscrews, water bottle very nice stainless steel, balloons, toothpicks with the flag, flag banners, canvas bag, stickers, and tattoos hmm what else was there bottle cozies.

I was thinking of going as well... But driving downtown is a little intimidating. It's a big bigger than Calgary downtown. LOL

Ugh I want to go to the one in North Ogden in Utah!! We will be in Idaho though, my husband's Mom said we can have a party (we are going 'camping' with his entire family) I feel like they would all be like .... why.... and I would be like YAY CANADA!

Well don't drive downtown, just drive to Cap Hill and park there. So much easier. Never been to Calgary, so don't know the size difference, but hey it's the best way to learn the city though

Nothing here in Rhode island....but I'm soon off to Quito Ecuador and a fairly large cdn contingent there.....Even an ice hockey rink....so I'm guessing they must put on some kind of Cdn Day celebration

Unfortunately, I have to work Canada day this year (since I book of July 4th weekend...lol! Going camping with my husband, brother in law and his girlfriend and a bunch of other from their college days...annual event!).

I did go to an all you can eat/drink poutine party in DC in 2012 though...so much fun! DC got hit with a derecho that night...came back to Annapolis after the storm with no power for 3 days!

I'll have to remember that for next year this year will be my last Canadian (resident anyway!) Canada day. Hoping to POE on the 2nd (and be in Cali for Independence Day. Yay parties!!)

A lot of ppl are having their party on the weekend, you don't have to do it on the day. We most likely won't have anyone come but it's nice getting the party pack!
