Hi,

I was sponsored by an agency for an immigration visa. My priority date is November 2010. This month the current priority date for our country is January 2008 and next month will already be January 2009.

My concern is I'm about to get married but the date is still next year. I want to be able to bring my husband with me when I leave for the US. The previous manager of the agency asked me to send marriage certificates etc prior to the date being current but their present manager now doesn't have enough knowledge on legal matters on the issue. She advised consulting an immigration lawyer.

Can anyone enlighten me regarding processing for dependents? When should I pass our marriage certificate and other documents? Prior to the release of the visa or is it still ok after the priority date becomes current?

Also, what happens if your priority date becomes current and then there is still no available job offer at that time?

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Is this for a Nursing position?

Hello.. i am a new immigrant presently working here in Texas, petitioned under EB3 visa. My family and I stayed in Singapore for almost 7 years. When I left Singapore, my employer told me that my family will be on "TO FOLLOW" status. Now that i want them on board, NVC told me that they cannot do anything since all the documents were already been transferred to the Consulate of US embassy Singapore. They even advised me to tell embassy that they need to"UNLOCK" the DS260 in order for my family to start ,submit and wait for the interview appointment. Now my dilemma started there, we cannot open my family's DS260 in CEAC website. Embassy is aware of it and maybe because of my numerous emails, they got weary answering all of it. Actually, the US embassy personnel in Singapore wanted us to show him or send a screen shot of an "ERROR" message whenever we signed-in to CEAC website, a proof that we really cannot get through. Thousand times i told them that there was never an ERROR message. Am i the only one who got this issue?…i'm dying to see my children..please help :crying:

What is EB3 'to follow'?

I have never heard of this, the only thing I can think of is K to follow, but the circumstances are very different.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
