So I was kinda right :) Thank you for clarifying the whole ARN thing!

So you are the beneficiary? And you can actually check your status? Ever since I returned to Sweden I have been unable to check it but he can.

I don't think anyone know their number at this stage. Maybe you will be able to in another stage of the process?

Yes, I have our account details like username and password. I know where Burke is :) Around 25-30 min away from Sterling :)

Cool, you'll be living in Sterling! Me and my fiancé are in that area a lot. He is an aviation geek so we go watch airplanes at the Dulles airport a lot :) Have you spent a lot of time in Sterling? You've been to Burke?

I must be doing something really wrong then... Because I have the username and password, I know I am writing everything correctly but it keeps saying error check username/password. I thought maybe it just didn't let me check it because I was outside the states. I must be spelling it wrong even though I am sure I do it right.

I called yesterday to speak to Tier 2 they said they sent me a letter on November 25 but i havent recieve it maybe because i had an address change.

I literally signed my lease for another year this week because I was afraid to go ahead and change addresses. I've wanted to move to a bigger apartment but didn't want to chance anything with immigration going bad. Luckily I live in a really nice area in NYC, so it's not so bad. It's actually not tiny either, but I had wanted a bigger place since rent is sort of controlled a bit now.

Who knows what will happen in a year when I decide to move. NYC and rent laws suck; it would have been nice to lock down a 2 year lease with a good rate.

Damned TSC. :)

Received an email last night that my case was sent to the Department of State for Visa Processing. I wonder if I call next week would that be enough time to check if they've received it...

This next step albeit faster is a lot more confusing!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)

They recommend to wait 2 weeks before calling them up. It won't harm to phone them earlier I think :)

Hi Josh, thanks for the update!

I know how hard it is modeling under uncertainty!! :) There's a little thing I wanted to know and I am sure you explained before but I just didn't find exactly what I wand to know: The batches they work are based on the date, right? So it means if they had 1000 petitions one day and 100 on the other day the batches will have different amounts of cases, right? And the case workers are assigned to different batches or their focus their work in one specific batch? I kinda don't understand how they have completed (For instance) 24% of June 19th and almost 75% of cases sent later.. It is just weird they keep moving processing newer cases if they didn't finish the cases filled before! I am not sure if you know how they split the batches or something like that... It is something I always try to figure out!! But I am sure they're doing some work and we will hear something soon!! :) Thanks for your work!

Day 185 or so...losing count...if they ever get to ours it's going to skew your median real high there Josh. LOL. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to where they pick. I'm getting antsy....45 petitions were filed first week of June. Only 12 are still waiting....26%. I'm in that batch... uuuuuggggghhh

I called every day since I got that message and it was finally received last night. 7 days I waited. :)

Hopefully you'll enjoy a similar (or better) time to NVC. :)
