I actually used a Gini and Entropy Variance analysis for this (if you wanted to know how) to understand the impact of an RFE in the application process. I posted about this a few days ago....

RFEs are sent out within 3 weeks of either NOA1 or NOA2 and on average having an RFE before your NOA1 or NOA2 increase your total wait time by 2.75 weeks.

This analysis leads me to believe that applications with no RFE will get on the approval line while RFE applications are placed on hold until they receive a response. RFE response received are then placed back in line with everyone else in the order they are processed. RFE like other case statuses are processed in batches. For example no applications were approved yesterday, TSC only worked RFEs.

Hope this helps to answer your question.

I continue to pray for all of you guys, I am waiting too. I believe God will make this work for our good and we will get to be more patient which is a skill we will all need when we all get married.

Blessings

Josh

Yes. My estimations is for an approval before Christmas but most certainly before the end of december.

TSC is already working on RFEs for June 20th batches. June 24th batch is next.

Hey Josh what percentage of the June 9th -10th batch has not been completed yet? Any possible approximate NOA2 date?

Andies: It's usually 2 to 4 weeks more like 4 for an answer on rfe's from what I've seen. You should be coming up soon.

genr87: You can use igor's list to compile this.... count how many applications were done on those dates then change the filter to only approved applications and subtract. You then have your % of completions.

My noa1 date is june 5th.... there were 13 applications taken that day....only 3 of us are still waiting.... Hope people can understand why I'm getting tense... it's as if they just forgot us.

Bret I understand your frustration. I have NOA June 10th. Next Wednesday is 6 months. Everyone around me got approved yet. This week has been horrible. I've checked my case status multiple times throughout the day and have been on Igor's list basically all day.

Hang in there. Hopefully we will get our approval soon.

Thanks - fingers crossed. But more importantly, I can't believe you still haven't heard anything especially since we had the same noa1 date. When's your scheduled meeting with someone? Is it tomorrow? Raise hell, my friend.

To answer your question genr87.... there were 29 petitions from 6-9-14 to 6-11-14 taking out rfe's there are only 10 left.... Thus about 2/3rds of them around you have been done.

Andies:: It's the 11th... I will trust me.

Riddy: Something to look at, maybe I'm not reading it right but there hasn't been a single thailand petition approved in AWHILE. We're the first on the list waiting you guys second for Texas thai petitioners. When you filter it for Thai petitions it makes me go rut rho!!! There are about 6 of us in June and if none of us gets anything in another month i would suspect the state department has something going with Thailand.

I called again today (I'm gonna call everyday until we have a real and honest answer!)

Since our case cannot be access by computer or phone anymore I ask for some informations and the girl told me this BS. We are currently experiencing unexpected problems.... yeah right, for the past month and a half....

I'm starting to become nuts over this

I thought you got approved after you signed up for an account, or am I mistaken you for someone else?

I thought i was but the system somehow sent me an approval from the couple one digit less than ours. Maybe i typed it in wrong but soon after the right one came and there was nothing. No updates no nothing..

The good thing is i put in for an inquiry and got a number yesterday from the texas service center. I was expecting an immediate denial like i got when i put in for an expedited request.. I didn't so they have now 14 days to get back with me on an update. No doubt i'll get some bs like we can't give you any information at this time. or that's what i'm expecting.
