I think its all the respect and treating women as women instead of conquest with the Muslim men my fiance is so good to me and caring i just like that he sees me as a person and we can talk about anything and share our views and its intellectual conversations. When you met imad family did they ask silly questions

Oh goodness yes! I cannot tell you how many times I heard in French and Arabic Christians aren't as heathen as I thought! Most questions were questions about stereotypes about Americans and if we all hated Muslims. They really had some jacked up opinions about Americans and the people until I told them otherwise, or more importantly explained everything they saw on tv was not real, particularly the movies they watched. For the most part his family was really hospitable and going out their way to make me comfortable. His extended family from the village was a lot more conservative but they have grown to accept me as I am. I think the most striking thing for his family was how independent I am. My MIL was horrified when I told her I lived alone and had my own car! Overall it's been quite an experience getting to know them and them me, and differences aside I love them all very much and look forward to his two younger sister joining us in the US. . .

My fiance one brother asked me if I knew the Tunisian astronaut I said of course I did I know all the astronauts lol my fiance almost died when I said it especially since he had to translate everything between me and his family. We were at another brothers house he is considered the rich brother lol he has trees in his yard in the city he asked if I had ever seen a tree. Lol it was hilarious. I unfortunately am one of those people when asked questions like that can't help but to say first thing that comes to my head lol. My fiance was always laughing so hard. My mil she's wonderful she called me before I went to Tunisia and we spoke in French thank god I took french in school lol. I found same things they think all Americans are rich. I said what they see on tv is not always true just as what we see is not all true. My one future brother in law decided he would try to convert me to Islam so we had a religious conversation and he said wow I never knew that I showed him the parallels of our religion and that all it comes down to is how u choose to honor you god and how you live your life. Its not about which one us better or worse its about living a GOOD life and being a good person he was surprised and respected my views lol then told my fiance he had a very intelligent woman he didn't realize American women were that intelligent and my fiance told him thank u and I already know she's very smart lol

That is hilarious! I get what I called my daily Islam conversion. Everyday, someone tries to "correct me" and persuade me to join Islam and each time politely and firm tell them I am very happy with Jesus Christ - that about makes their eyeball pop out! Actually now that I think about it, we have a lot of religious and politiial discussions and while I'm polite, I don't hold back opinions unless they may become offensive A lot of times my fiance has to translate Berber and Arabic for me and most people speak to me in French since I do ok with that. I've learned how to say the "American Woman" 3 languages now. The kids in his neighbor think I'm this cool mystical being, quite possible a djinn since I've heard that one a few times, because I'm from the US and I speak a weird language. Some of his female family members that speak half way decent English want to know everything about life in the US. His younger sister actually applied for the lottery, so we hope she'll get that in the spring after she graduates from university. His youngest sister is 13 and he wants to bring her to live with us while his mother on the other hand has no desire to leave Morocco. Since I'm very open minded, and his family is rather poor, a lot time they're shocked that the "wealthy American" chooses to live with them and do the same things they do. I think that helps a lot. They never ask me for money or handouts, and they are always respectful. I think the hardest part for me is toning down my feminism and Westernism and not talking smack when some of the more conservative locals insult me. But other than that, I love being with his family and showing them that there is so much more to life than what they see in their city. Imad and I took his mother, baby sister, and niece to Essoura once which was about 3 hours away. That was the furthest they had ever been from home and I love I can give them a chance to experience something new and different whenever I'm in Morocco. . .

TSC Processed about 10 RFEs yesterday. Most of them were from the June 20th and 17th batches.

Like I was saying before TSC works ahead first to look for RFEs as they load up all the other files into a waiting for approval bottleneck.

it is safe to say that June 17th and June 20th batches are now being placed in the "hopper" if you will for final approval.

When you say TSC processed 10 RFEs yesterday, do you mean they sent out RFE notices? Or processed from RFE to NOA2?

Hmmm, interesting. I'm really curious as to how they process the RFE responses after they've received them. I know several of us have received/responded to them already; wondering if they get sent to the back of the line or processed differently. I've tried making sense of it based on Igor's list, but there's really no rhyme or reason as to how they're processed after they're received, at least that I can determine.

I actually used a Gini and Entropy Variance analysis for this (if you wanted to know how) to understand the impact of an RFE in the application process. I posted about this a few days ago....

RFEs are sent out within 3 weeks of either NOA1 or NOA2 and on average having an RFE before your NOA1 or NOA2 increase your total wait time by 2.75 weeks.

This analysis leads me to believe that applications with no RFE will get on the approval line while RFE applications are placed on hold until they receive a response. RFE response received are then placed back in line with everyone else in the order they are processed. RFE like other case statuses are processed in batches. For example no applications were approved yesterday, TSC only worked RFEs.

Hope this helps to answer your question.

I continue to pray for all of you guys, I am waiting too. I believe God will make this work for our good and we will get to be more patient which is a skill we will all need when we all get married.

Blessings

Josh

Yes. My estimations is for an approval before Christmas but most certainly before the end of december.

TSC is already working on RFEs for June 20th batches. June 24th batch is next.
