Just checked my email! We have been APPROVED December 2, 2014 .. no RFEs!

Now I can exhale :)

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Praying for approvals for all of us June folks! I called USCIS yesterday and asked to speak to a supervisor because I could not comprehend how they could not provide me with a status update. Ended up getting frustrated and hanging up on the supervisor after she repeated the same information that the rep said, "system is down, don't know when it will be up, processing April 4 petitions right now blah blah blah".

Went to bed feeling so defeated, but just woke up to feed my son and decided to check my email and BOOM in my inbox was the email confirmation of approval. Very happy because I was prepared to call and harass them everyday for an answer!

I believe that having congressmen or senators involved in our cases and the enormous amount of calls they were receiving made them work a bit faster.
