Hi, i got curious when i've read this thread. My fiance sent our package last June 20, 2014 and we haven't received NOA1 yet. :(

If your check has been cashed, I would say it's to early to worry... it took them almost a month since then to give us NOA1. However if it hasn't, you really need to start calling and asking tier 2. My fiance was listening to a bunch of BS for a month and three weeks until they admitted they lost out papers and we could refile. Hope it's not what happening to you, good luck with your journey.

It's only been a month and this waiting is driving me crazy! The nonmovement in TSC just feels like forever, like this will be over in maybe a year (or two) when you add on green card wait times . . .

I…think TSC is getting a little bit faster. There were lots of approvals (at 6 months though) in the January filers last week. I can only hope that they continue with this and start moving forward into february soon and it's not just because it's the end of the month...

I am the petitioner.

I hear a lot of ppl saying they have the wait on the green card and it to their waiting time.

But aren't with you husband by then? like does it really matter how long you have to wait for that? i could care less i just can't wait to be with him..

I could be getting it wrong if so please correct me :P

It's more about just being done with the government and being done with paperwork. I travel for a living and it would be nice for my husband to travel with me occasionally without always filing for AP. Plus when it comes to work as well.

Is that really faster though? The approvals were all still 177 - 209 days...just a few more of them. To me, faster is 100 - 130 days and then even sooner than that. Relatively speaking, they are not faster...YET. With more being approved though...they may actually get a little faster in time...but that is a good ways off I think.

Well, no...not faster. Not fast enough, not at all. But...maybe they're starting to catch up? We shall see if they start hitting February in the next week or so...

Hi. It really upsets me because it's more than a month now and still we haven't receive our NOA1. When we refile does it mean we also need to pay the filing fee again?

My honey had to stop previous check, and payed the fee for that, 30$ if I remember correctly and yes, he wrote a new check when refiling. I suggest contact your bank if your check been cashed, if so, there should be 13 digit number written on it, that is what your NOA1 will give you... if you have it, I think you safe. Good luck!

My mistake, my fiance didn't use check in paying the filing fee.

What did he use? If he used a Money Order the receipt will have a tracking number that he can call and check to see if the MO was cashed...

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days
