If you haven't made an account guys make one you might have an noa2 in the box too. Weird thing is i checked my status and it came back with nothing. I checked again 45 minutes later and BAM!! Thank you Alicia... i never would have made another account if not for you. I had an old one when the format was different but i guess it got wiped out in the format change cause i had to make a whole new one.

Wait, so now you have to wait six months before you can make inquiries, not five anymore? And when we get to six months will it be seven? Not a happy camper!

Yup. Once when I called, a representative told me I could file for one when I hit my 5 month Mark. I was about 4 days away when I called. Unfortunately I never got her again and all other representatives say you can't submit an inquiry until your processing time shows up on their chart. They are on april 5th now but I believe that's a lie because people in June are being approved. Anyways, even if you try to file an inquiry on the website, it doesn't go through. It says you're still in normal processing time.

Congrats to everyone who received an approval! It's only Tuesday but good news already. I am trying to be active about this, emailing and writing to powers that be and stuff but I feel like I'm just creating busy work for myself while I should be studying for the most important exam of my career *sigh*

Same old here, can't check status through the website, docs havent been touched since June 27th when we got our Alien#. Called USCIS today and the guy in customer service sounded concerned when I told him we havent been able to check our status in 3 weeks and that other June filers have started getting approvals. I am June 25th NOA1 recipient so I do realize I need to be patient since I think most recent approval was June 12 or 13 but I needed to do something so I called. A tier 2 officer called me back because the wait was over an hour long so I chose that option and after I got done telling her that we received NOA1 on June 25th and Alien# was changed June 27th she was like "well you have all the details your case is still processing so how can I help you?" So I asked if I can submit an enquiry because we are past the 5 months processing and she gave me the shpiel of "we are now working on April 5th"

I then told her that this is simply not true because I knew people who are June filers and already had approvals, and she just repeated "ma'am we are working on April 5th at the moment."

The of course my stressed out self came out and started talking about CSC and how people get processed in two or three months, which she said was impossible (what does TSC know ugh) and then she said CSC processing times have nothing to do with Texas as they are two wholly different centers.

I mean, do they get trained on how to lie and avoid questions? SO FRUSTRATING

Having an account really doesn't give you anything. There are absolutely no updates on mine. None, zilch, nada. I just hope they can move the processing time date up from April 5th now. I have no faith in these people to do their jobs. I even am thinking now at the end of this nightmare and they have to give me some kind of decision they are going to reject us for some bull reason. It downright demasculates you that there's nothing you can do to help your fiancee out but to wait it out. I look at Igor's list and see people with noa1's back in january. What's the deal with those people? They couldn't be still waiting could they?

I know some members have checked out most if not all prior to their own, but haven't seen any advice of their analysis. I've looked at a few and it seems a lot of the early ones anyway haven't been online for many months. Whether that means they were approved and continued on independently or whether they withdrew their petition, who knows. But there are a lot that are no longer waiting. Maybe someone who has investigated it more thoroughly would know about that... A friend who went through this process a couple of years ago told me recently that there are probably 200 -250 at least that are no longer waiting for whatever reason, they were either approved and never came back to this site or otherwise.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I just got off the phone with a Tier 2 officer. She was very rude and said I could be waiting another 66 days even though I have been already waiting 176, she claims "that's not a long time" and that its a very long process to ensure background checks and all the processes are done throughly and correctly. I tried questioning why people filing through CSC have gotten approved in as short as 4 days if it is such a long through process and she said that was "untrue" because she has worked there 30 years and that does not happen. Such BS. I asked if I just needed to wait 8 days until my 6 month mark to submit an inquiry and she told me I had to wait 66 days since "they are working on April" I tried to explain that on the website where you go to submit an inquiry it says "Please wait six months before submitting an inquiry" and she claims that's not a true statement and to ignore the website. When I ask to speak to someone in regards to that error she tried to pass me off on emailing website support. I asked several times to speak with someone else and she finally said she could take my number and have someone call me back tomorrow. Fingers crossed that person will be a lot nicer and understanding.
