I think that helped me too. I filed two inquiries, both of which were promptly refused. I logged on to my case status last night and it shows my history, a history that shows that someone picked up my inquiry maybe a day or two before I was approved. I'll have to take a screenshot of it. . .

Not going to go in yelling. I am going to make them realize this is unacceptable service and work. Let them understand non working websites for months is unacceptable. Giving people lip service over the phone and giving no updates is unacceptable. I think most bureaucrats don't really take pride in their work or feel it is imperative to give good service. The rest of us can and would be fired in life working in the business world and producing these types of results. They are civil servants and short of murdering someone can't be fired. Now when you make their life a little uncomfortable or start having other people with some influence of some sort make their lives a little miserable like they are making ours then all of a sudden I bet one gets an noa2 and out of their hair. I've been patient and it's six months now on the 5th. It's past their own timeline of what an expected wait time should be, and I deserve some answers. We'll get some and I'll report back to you guys how the appointment went.

So even though they were refused right away because you were only at 5 months and the website says 6 months, they could still see that you submitted an inquiry? I just submitted one this morning and got the refusal right away saying that I was still in normal processing time. I hope that means they can at least see it. I also scheduled an appt to go to my local office next Wednesday. Fingers crossed something changes. I was so excited to see when you got an approval because that reassurrd me they were working on all june cases and not just "special" ones.

These are your four.

We offer 4 kinds of appointments for a case that you have already filed. Please choose from the following - Order from Immigration Court - If you were directed to us for processing based on an order from the Immigration Judge. You must bring all documents required in the post order instructions given to you by the court.

Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.

EAD inquiry appointment - If your I-765 employment authorization application has been pending for more than 90 days.

Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.

I just scheduled an appointment for Friday afternoon with an immigration officer in Fairfax, Va but I had totally different options:

Please select Kind of Service you need
You need Service on a case that has already been filed

You are a new Permanent Resident and have not yet received your Permanent Resident Card

You want to file an application in person

You need information or other services

You need a form.

You are a United States Military Member, Military Retiree or a Military Dependant

Congratulations, Brett! I'm so pleased for you, but at the same time, it's a little concerning that you didn't know about it. Did you find it on the website? It does beg the question as to how many others have been approved, but not received notification.

Get all your paperwork ready and start going through the online forms to check if there is any more information you need to gather before your case reaches the consulate.

Wait, so now you have to wait six months before you can make inquiries, not five anymore? And when we get to six months will it be seven? Not a happy camper!

I found out by making an account on the uscis.gov website. I thought i'd either get something in the mail or the system would let me know i had been approved. To make a formal complaint your case has to go past their processing times. Presently that is april 5th according to them for the texas center. They change that every 15th of the month. So the worst is another 2 month wait guys. The ROCK BOTTOM. I think i'll go to my appointment on the 11th to get my paperwork since I never got any. Wow!! Honey is going nuts in Thailand at 4 in the morning now!!

If you haven't made an account guys make one you might have an noa2 in the box too. Weird thing is i checked my status and it came back with nothing. I checked again 45 minutes later and BAM!! Thank you Alicia... i never would have made another account if not for you. I had an old one when the format was different but i guess it got wiped out in the format change cause i had to make a whole new one.
