LOL I heard of it :) Last year I lived in DC during the polar vortex. LOL it was like a cold fall for me. I am used to -30C degree weather. Anyone is up for a quick visit?

-30 C. That's ok. I'll let you have it.

Ha! I wish you could have seen the winters I used to experience in Kyrgyzstan! It was complete with the Russian mafia and all!

No thanks. Ill deal with 10 F. I give it up to you guys out there. You gotta be tough or you won't survive the winters there. And I thought we had it bad. Although I remember visiting Alaska in February about 12 years ago. It wasn't that bad. About 20 F. And I thought it was going to get a lot colder

HEY AYLA, I WAS JUST WONDERING, WHY IT IS TALKING SO LONG TO GET YOUR APPROVAL NOTICE,

DID YOU FORGET ANY PAPER TO SUMMIT WITH YOUR K1 VISA APPLICATION FORM?.

IT HAS TO BE APPROVED BY NOW.

MY FIANCE HAD THE ISSUE WITH SHORT BIRTH CERTIFICATE, SHE HAD TO SUMMIT LONG ONE.

The USVI aré awesome!!! Spent 7 days in st Thomas Charlotte Amalie. It was amazing. Stayed at blue beards castle and new the island in less than a day. I was spooked out by driving in the left side of the road but became adjusted to it after about an hour. And their handshake. I was hooked. Nicest people ever.

Hi,

Well, we also sent his short birth certificate... He doesn't have the long version. We also sent it along with his Bio page of his passport. I never thought it could be an issue since they do not require the long version. Good to know this info!! :)

That's good to know actually. Since I'm a photographer, we were thinking of eventually moving down that way and setting up a wedding business down there. Maybe go there on vacation and scope it out first. . .

Definitely something to consider. And when you go there, take the ferry to St. John. You have to check out trunk bay. One of the most beautiful beaches out there. You will love it!!!! Just remember everything is imported so expect to pay more for things like groceries, etc

There are people who filed before us who still have no approval. So I don't see why I should have gotten an approval yet.

We gave them the long version of birth certificate.

I'm hoping for an approval soon. No worries over here. I know we will get it sooner then later.

It's part of the USVI. St.Thomas st. Croix and St. John. US territories. You may be confusing them with the British VI. But trust me. You will love it there. And go to the Marriott on st Thomas. You will love the food. And cruzan rum is their rum over there. Like 6.00 for a 750 mL bottle. And they have this place called save a lot or something like it. It looks like a Home Depot but full of alcohol. Paradise. And check out coki beach ... Ask for bomba and Wes. They will take care of you.
