June Filers,

Forgot to include the Batch process.

if your NOA1 is close to around those Batch dates you can see what is the completness pct and attempt to estimate when you will receive a noa2.

Your Brother in Christ,

Josh

Hi Josh,

so if our SRC is after " Latest Approved File: src1490295095 Approval: 11/24/2014 " should we be expecting our NOA2 soon?

Yes that is correct. but depends greatly on "how far" or how many applications you have in front of you. thousands of applications are after src1490295095 . that doesn't mean they will be getting a noa2.

if your src is RIGHT AFTER (within 100) then you should expect it soon.

right now wait times are 5.5 months. expect that or more based on your NOA1

Hi Josh, I must say you have done some great work. I got a quick question.

The last petition approved was 295095 and mine is 311683. That leaves approx 16,000 various filers in front of me. Have you figured out the average number of i129f's petitions among all other filers, lets say in about 10,000? If its easy to conclude I would be grateful to hear the number. If it's a pain, don't worry about it. Again thanks for your great work.

  1. Hey Riddy.... seems like Thailand filers get low creed and we get to wait. I am first in line for Thai filers who don't have an noa2 yet. noa1 date 6-5-14 Good thing is the Thai embassy usually gets an interview 2 months or less from noa2. They don't take files in order so who knows whose going to get picked next, but it seems Texas center has decided to take the week off. Nothing yesterday or today so far.

I have actually thats why i built this program because there is no pattern. so all you have is figuring out the EXACT amount between the last approved file and any given SRC.

Keep in mind that even though there are about 340 i-129 F apps in front of you (i do have you on my list), TSC DOES NOT work in any order. Instead they work by batches based on the date of NOA1. this is when your file has cleared the initial checks (the checks that initiate the first round of RFEs /if applicable). after this process it goes into the TSC BLACK HOLE, then goes into the current batch processing where they check the files ahead (up to 3 weeks) for completeness (this initiates the second round of RFEs / if applicable). All other files that did not get an RFE will go to the next step which i believe to be the absolute bottleneck and the reason for delays.

this explains why some people of later batches get approved before earlier batches. they all arrive to the bottleneck at different times.

I know this wait sucks, but i encourage you guys to memorize this scripture and call it out when you feel anxious,

Romans 8:28

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Thanks Josh for your superb work on this. I am about 50 or so numbers away from the last approved number. Any day now....

Do you mind explaining to me, either here or in a pm, how you data mined the uscis website? Just really impressed and curious.

sure thing:

Manipulated DOM objects to walk through the submit process

Used Python to parse and clean the data

created a small Oracle Database to keep up with the data on a day to day basis

used Visual Basic scripts to run programs

and used a combination of SAS & R Studio (Rattle Package) for Analytics.

Josh.

Josh Your work is fantastic, how do you you exactly know as to how there are only 340 i-129F filers amongst the thousands of other applications? I am at 318205 and Tomorrow it is will 5 months! I now have a better understanding of how the TSC works in batches but according to your software, do you think that we will be approved by early next month? I am planning for a march 21 wedding and hopefully that is going to be feasible!

Thanks for the answer... yea the wait is brutal, it's important to keep busy. I picked up a second job while waiting to save more money for a honeymoon, wedding, or whatever else we need. I would absolutely love a quick K1 visa, but the longer i wait the more money i'll save, trying to focus on the positive and be productive with the time.

Thanks again for the information you have provided, take care

I wish you the best. Thai people also have trouble getting a B2 visa, decent amount of fraud coming out of Thailand. My fiance resides in Hong Kong, therefore we are filing out of that area. I'm wondering if that makes a difference in the whole process, do they look at where she resides or where her passport origins from?

My aim was that i could give some hope and to show people how it works so we are not overwhelmed with anxiety.

to answer your question, under the old version of the website you could see what type of application it was when you submitted an SRC. so what i did i created a routine that pulled all possible SRC numbers within the range for june and saved just the ones that are 129 F applications.

with the new website and new program i can see the status of each of those SRCs effectively i am able to see a "Watermark" and create statistics of their total progress for June NOA1s

Your brother in Christ,

Josh

June Filers,

TSC continues to step it up. Today they have completed 8 RFEs

between yesterday and today they have touched 34 files. it looks like they are focusing more on i-129Fs

lets continue to pray so that they continue to do so!
