No, I am no saying that. I get your frustration. We all have hard days. I just hope that even if it takes 6 months we get approved. I really really don't want to wait more than that. There are people who have waited almost a year, that really scares me.

Josh, do you think mine just got skipped or is there any hope I get my approval by the end of this month? My number is 295155.

Timeline

We are June 11. When I checked the string of cases immediately in front of ours, 300416-424, they had all been touched on November 18. Mine and 300426 had been skipped. They continued from 300427 and forward with approvals. We were planning an April 17 wedding, but I think it's safe to say we can let that go now since according to the trends, it take Moroccans on average 7 months to be approved. I think it's just time for Imad and I to accept we are going to have a lot longer wait than we planned since there seems to be no order to the madness, or rather there is but for some reason, our petition has been deliberately placed to the side to be scrutinized further because of his country of origin. As soon as I he back to the States Im going direct in person to my congress man's local office to file an inquiry. I don't trust their aides to be cooperative over the phone or internet . . .

how come?

we are June 10th and our number 296129, so USCIS has jumped over us!!! me and Waad had decided to marry and to apply for CR1 visa but she changed her mind and told me it will take long time for the visa to be issued (12-16 months) although there will be no surprises at all because CR1 is more guaranteed, but because of the long time pf the procedure we decided to apply for K1 visa which theoretically takes (6-8 months) and we could save (6-8 months). however we've lost more than 6 months until now and have had nothing.

it's frustrating to wait and wait :clock::clock::clock::clock::clock:

Skipping happens all the time, read my previous posts.

you have 70 i-129f applications to be completed before yours! i am assuming less than 2 weeks for you. you are part of the 6/12/2014 Batch which is 28% complete. Be patient this is the biggest batch they have for june.

I am running my program tonight to see if any of those 70 have been completed since my last update on the data (Earlier this week).

Keep up the faith, close your eyes for just a minute and think about the amazing things that will happen once you get to be with the person you love, I hope that by doing this you can focus more on the good things rather than the trials we are experiencing due to TSC.

Blessings,

Josh

We did too, but when Imad was denied a visitor visa, we decided go k1. We wanted to get married in the US and then apply for the Cr1. At least he could have visited. When I saw him last I told him it would just be a few months. I got lucky and work sent me to Europe, so I had about two days I could run off to Morocco to visit him about a month ago, so that helped some. If you include the visitor visa, we've been doing this stupid process for a year now. I wanted him to have his green card so we wouldn't have to deal with USCIS for a long time, but the State Department and my traditional parents forced our hand . .

Exactly. I just feel ultra PO'ed because I can see how they deliberately approved cases right in front of mine and skipped ours and one another before happily going on their way to temporarily destroy lives, hopes, and dreams of cases immediately after ours with a long strong of approvals. Tsc needs to do all or nothing with dates. Not this we do 20% here, 80% there, SQUIRREL! There's a Philippines filer! Let's focus on expedites exclusively now! I don't understand why they don't have a dedicated expediting crew and an everyone else crew! And no shade to the Philippines, but you can't possibly tell me that the typhon a year ago wasn't the perfect time to file for a loved one to come. It's a year later and they're still getting expedited? I understand some people are still struggling a year later, but anyone with access to a mailbox and an internet connection a year after the fact can not possibly still be homeless and continuing a relationship on the internet receiving documents for this process. The word is out. The Philippines are still being expedited; cement this foreign relationship while you can! Ok that was mean. I know most people have legitimate relationships, but this expediting is being taken advantage of . . .

by the way

I'm Syrian refugee (guest as the Turks used to call us in here)

my country is almost ruined, we've had this war for almost 4 years, more than 5o% of the Syrians are displaced, more than 250,000 victims, 500,000 are missing

I'm here in Turkey as guest I can't work so basically I have no money to live and when we explained that for USCIS to be expedited they said ((your case is not serious to get expedited))

but for the poor Filipino there were some hurricanes a year ago and they deserve to get expedited

is that fair?

I don't think so

they get expedited because of the military presence in the island. Basically the majority of people requesting k-1 visas are active military members. Military members get priority, there really isn't a bias in favor of just Filipinos. In fact go out in the forum and see there are Filipinos freaking out because they have to wait 6-8 months for their application because the applicant is not in the military.

Hi Everyone!

Not sure how I am just now coming across this forum. Well, other than the fact that I had to stay off this website for a while too. I was getting false hope watching California move so quickly. WHAT IS UP WITH TEXAS? Move it, people!! :) Anyway, my fiance is from Costa Rica and our filing date is June 25 ... bummer. Still waiting.

Not sure how all of you are doing with the wait - it's hard, I know. In the grand scheme of things, 5 or 6 months, even 8 or 9 months is nothing. But I tell my friends, "When it's YOUR 5 or 6 months, it feels like forever!" Amen?

Regardless, every day is a day closer to us being with the one we love and FINALLY getting our visa! And that is just how we have to look at it. I thank God that the timing of our visa is in HIS hands. So many times I try to control the outcome of things but this is one thing we literally have ZERO control or influence over. So we wait, and trust God's perfect time.

Thanks everyone, good luck to you!!
