ohhhh I thought you meant there was already a petition there that needed signatures. For these petitions to get to the white house you need some crazy number of signatures, I remember people were talking about this back in July. I think it's like 1500? For some reason I have that number in my mind but I could be very wrong

You guys are getting me worried with the receipt number. I see people with noa1 with numbers : 300425 and i'm only a week later and my number is 310... it seems like a pretty big difference. I feel like i'll be waiting forever!! Someone have a similar number to mine (NOA1 JUNE19TH)

maybe writing one that is inclusive of ALL pending petitions (rather than specifically I-485 like this one or K-1 etc) would be a good idea? I get a feeling that all types of petitions are affected, therefore it makes sense to combine _everyones_ voices. Rather than having 100 people for K-1, 200 for CR-1 or whatever, the number would be much higher and maybe, just maybe, someone might be more likely to listen?

Noone stops us from being concerned about long processing times before the 5 month cut-off, or pointing out discrepancies along the way while we wait.

All the K1s immediately before ours were approved. Only one received an RFE. Ours the one immeadiately following ours were skipped. . . :cry:We're still waiting.

I was really optimistic for a productive week from the USCIS since i figured there would not be much work done next week due to the holidays but as of right now, i see only 1 approval on Igors list for the month of June. Since we are talking about government employees (likely the least productive goverment employees are at USCIS- which is basically the worst of the worst) I am expecting everyone to be off for the majority of the week.

We are June 11. When I checked the string of cases immediately in front of ours, 300416-424, they had all been touched on November 18. Mine and 300426 had been skipped.They continued from 300427 and forward with approvals. We were planning an April 17 wedding, but I think it's safe to say we can let that go now since according to the trends, it take Moroccans on average 7 months to be approved. I think it's just time for Imad and I to accept we are going to have a lot longer wait than we planned since there seems to be no order to the madness, or rather there is but for some reason, our petition has been deliberately placed to the side to be scrutinized further because of his country of origin. As soon as I he back to the States Im going direct in person to my congress man's local office to file an inquiry. I don't trust their aides to be cooperative over the phone or internet . . .

Good news, i got my script working again! only problem is that the new website uses an obnoxiously slow interface built on java script. this significantly reduces the speed of my program. i can check a receipt number every 30 seconds. i'll let it run overnight and see what i get.

I will update you as soon as i get something. Dont lose hope I know this is hard but ask Jesus for patience and peace to come into our hearts. We will get through this!

there so many people who have had their cases touched too. My number is 295155 and I am June 10th. My case hasn't been touched and I am beyond frustrated at this point.
