Random question. How soon do we get a social security number? when we get the visa or when we get the GC?

I read that you can apply for the social security number after the fiance gets to the U.S. and can be applied for before the wedding.

NOA1 is the most significant variable in a Gini variance analysis when the dependent variable is approval.

basically mumbojumbo to say go off the NOA1 date sent is meaningless as they process in batches.

Date sent determines your batch date and receipt number but you could be out of order within the batch.

A friend of mine used to always say... you can't explain stupid. This is the case of TSC. based on what i can see from the data i imagine containers with our files divided by RFE, Ok-Pending Approval, Approved. These bins are worked on in batches as their workforce goes from application type to application type for example every week 3 days out of the week they process i-129fs ok-pending approvals, then the next day RFEs, then the next day work ahead on expedited files, etc. TSC processes many different types of immigration requests as well.

to answer your question SRC ending in 3078 is actually on my list and part of my estimated June 17th-18th Batch. this means you got about 120 Fiancee applications in front of you with an estimated NOA2 of about 1.5 to 2 weeks. maybe less i can't account for the mindless decisions to move files to another location or dedicating more staff to work on these apps towards the end of the month. I have seen both situations take place last month for May NOA1s.

Hope this helps,

I will continue to pray for you guys

your brother in Christ,

Josh

What part of the number are you guys talking about? The last 3 digits? The last 4? My kast 6 numbers are 300418 and they received my packet on 6/11 and adjusted on 6/16. We filed a I-129F...the 5 numbers before me 413-417 are all different types of visas and from what I can see are all approved. Starting with mine the next 5-6 are all still pending and are all the same type of visa. Any advice would be great Josh :)

I know u all are frustrated. Me too. I am 35 weeks pregnant and I really thought my fiancée would be here b4 baby birth. It's sad he won't get to be I'm room when his first child is born or to help me with the newborn baby as I am full time nursing student. Baby not something we planned but we are happy for baby just sad he is not here.

So trust me the wait is hard for all of us, at least your not going to have a baby without your loved one there. Anyways all this error stuff is confusing and john bless him, but I don't understand his data. Any suggestions as I hit my five month mark this week src-------641

Do those numbers have any significance?

Ps if u guys had to estimate how long until my fiancée is here based off of being June 12th filer, do u think by jan or feb he could be in USA? I know he will miss to meet the baby

Thank u

Just wanted to say thank you to Josh for all this amazing work! My NOA1 is June 25 so I was hopping mad the other day but now I've seen the numbers and decided to sit tight. I'm studying for the NY Bar exam (not the fun kind of bar) coming up in February and it's been exactly 2 months since I visited my honey but for some reason it feels like it's been more :(

We got worried about the paperwork and moved the wedding date to June. I'd rather have him here early and do all the planning in a calm manner than rush around like a mad person.

Random question - I can´t access my status (nothing new there), but both my fiance and I are also unable to even create an account in the first place. It just says "technical error, please contact tech support". which is about as helpful as the number I get with the validation error message.

Does anyone have any idea how to get around that? Or the same issue so I know I am not alone?

thank you so much!

you're not alone

the same boat

we've thried many times to create an account or to check our said case on USCIS website but all the trails went in vain, so we called them to investigate about this ERROR PROBLEM and they said it's a technical problem and will be solved soon, so we've been waiting since November 7th and nothing's solved.
