Congratulations! What do you mean you updated your sign in info? I dont log in, I just check my status through the status link on the main page....

I started an account on the USCIS website. When I was getting an error message I updated my account by filling in new security questions, and I was able to check my case status.

Do you guys think that even thought their website is down they will still send out emails/texts to the people who are approved? If u signed up for the txts and emails of course.

Yeah, I believe those notices are because your forms are in limbo because they are being worked on. :)

I just got my approval notice!!! I really thought I would get an RFE. I tried checking the case status last night, but I kept getting an error message so I updated my sign in info. Still can not believe it. I hope everyone gets approvals very soon, and I will keep checking in on this forum. :)

Congrats

we got NOA1 at the same date but we haven't received any approval yet

Congratulations to the new approvals! I am also having trouble checking my case status at the new and "improved" website. I just called the number they provide and an automated system let me know I was still in Initial Review <_<

flying down to see my love again later this month, hoping for an approval beforehand...

What part of DR? I usually hang out in La Vega area.

Plan to drive to Punta Cana, Sosua and Santo Domingo on my (hopefully final) trip there. :)

I think he means that MENA and Middle Eastern countries. We have more scrutiny and possibly longer waits because Americans swear that everyone from those countries are potential terrorists or have bad intentions. . .

I don't think at this stage it makes a huge difference. But prepare yourself for a possible AP after the interview. I'm preparing myself from 2 weeks to 6 months AP. Hopefully it's not too bad!!
