sent mine June 19th, and received email today with a receipt number! YAY! now I can obsess over checking my status every hour .. let the "visa journey" (very appropriate name) begin! :)

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)

Sorry I did not mean June 19th! I meant to type June 14th (Last Saturday) .. I sent it Priority Mail so I tracked my package and got a notification that it made it to the Texas lockbox on Tuesday June 17th, and then received the official email Friday June 20th! So from the time I sent it to the time I received the email was a total of 6 days!

The email stated that the payment was confirmed and that all documents needing signatures were signed so now they are running background checks on my fiancé and I. I heard Texas is slow but I am going to stay as optimistic as possible. Everything happens in God's timing (L)

YAY! just checked my email and as of an hour ago USCIS sent me an email that my Alien Registration Number has been changed! Not sure what that means but I am definitely happy that my application has had consistent activity on it. I pray that it stays this way, would love for my fiancé to be here for the birth of our baby (L)
