Wow! And I thought I was the only one who did that... Not hundreds though. How are you keeping track of them? Added them all to your USCIS account?

I feel that calling my congresswoman and getting them involved really helped. I got approved shortly after. Try that route. I kept emailing my congresswoman's assistant to update him of the situation and they contacted USCIS on my behalf. Cant hurt.

I also emailed my congressman and was approved a week later. Try it!

I engaged my congressman two months ago and it was a wash. Same answer as the general call center and they haven't responded since.

Yeah, congressional offices are a ####### shoot. Some are great, some are not. Kinda like CSC vs TSC ;). Definitely worth contacting them though regardless of how good their staff is.

Actually, I've probably entered well over a thousand. I only concerned myself with the outstanding ones. I found 187 just for that week alone and there are only 20 pending now. I keep a spreadsheet with a column for the SRC #, TSC received date, and date of approval/RFE/denial. Much easier now that there are only 20 left in the spreadsheet. I just wish I wasn't one of the 20.

So you are manually searching dozens of numbers once a week? Wow. That's dedication.

I use an iPhone app called "USCIS Case Tracker & Searcher. It not only keeps track of your case and gives you updates but the most useful feature is that I can put in a case number and then see the status of 100 or 200 (any number you give it) cases after it. If you want to see 100 cases before yours, then for example if your case ends with 4000, then start at 3900 and it will give you the status between 3900 and 4000 in a matter of a minute.

Wow. Thanks. I will definitely check this out.

Superb - I've just installed and run this (taking 100 off my number and asking for 200, so our number is in the middle) and looking at the responses for the i-129F's before ours, It really does show there is very significant activity before our number and not much after.

..yes...I know past activity is not a predictor of future activity :P ...but it's interesting to see... :)

Yes, I wouldn't hold too much faith in the order of the case numbers, but I do assume they are SOME indication of order of processing. You can also see that I-129F forms are in the minority of forms. You can also see what type of activities they do on what date. For example, yesterday I saw only RFE's coming out for I-129F forms and on Monday I only saw a few approvals.

She can push back all she wants, but at the end of the day she has to transfer you. I believe the key words are "I demand a transfer" or something like that. I asked rather politely once to be transferred and the Tier 1 replied, "I can only transfer you if you demand it. Is this a demand for transfer?" I guess they have to code it that way in the computer or something.

And if you left your information meaning you recorded your name and put in your number and all of that, then you will get a call back. Be sure to ask specific questions, like whether all background checks have been completed, if your case has been assigned to an officer for adjudication, etc.

Spoke to a USCIS "supervisor" yesterday and was told the standard line about TSC processing June 6 petitions, etc. I was able to find out that my case was sitting on a shelf, untouched, in the "Humanitarian Affairs Division" at the TSC for "special care." This supervisor forwarded my inquiry to the TSC for a reply within 30 days.

Not being satisfied with the level of "special care" that they have been giving me the past 7 months and 3 days, I contacted my Senator's office this morning. Within an hour, a Case Worker called me. She got the information she needed and reached out to her contact at TSC to get my case moved to the proper area for adjudication. My Senator's office did this for me within a few hours of my contacting them. Senator Chris Murphy and his staff are the best. She asked me to follow up with her in three weeks. I hope it is quicker, but I am thankful to see somebody showing some care and initiative.

RFE today. Sigh. At least our case has been touched - and from what I read, it moves pretty fast after we return whatever it is they want - I hope it does :) . Do I have to wait for the letter to be sent, or can I go straight to the www.uscis.gov/e-request link?
