pmak: One thing I would say is I got immediate attention once I went over normal processing times. I waited 165 minutes on the phone two days ago and was told by a tier 2 officer that nobody had even picked up my case to look at it. I filed for a beyond normal processing time request with them, and had my Congressman's office get on it that day. Today I got an RFE. I know this part of the process is REALLY FRUSTRATING. Especially, when you've seen everybody around you leaving. I'm 3 weeks older than your petition so in a month you should be beyond normal processing times and have some leverage. Until then there's not much to be done. They will just fall back on the position that you are still within normal processing times.

How did u send your RFE back how long did it take to get there? Im sending mine in tomorrow and I've been seeing a lot approved with in 6 days of them recieving the RFE. I can't wait to see you approved so I have an idea.

I chose to send mine back Priority Mail Express and went to the UPSP website and asked for email notifications on their tracking the package. I mailed it Tuesday morning,, the package was confirmed delivered Wednesday, and I received the email and text notification from USCIS last night that they'd recieved it and would start working on my package again last night at 9pm. Please God, let us be approved next, and soon!

For those that received an RFE, how long did it take you to receive the letter stating what they need from when you were first notified of the RFE?

We received the text & email Monday and haven't received the letter yet. I just want to get what they need and send it to them ASAP!

I checked my information so I could respond to your question. I received the text and email back on 1/6/15 and finally got the information in the mail on the 12th, so almost a week. Thankfully, it was easy, so I had it into Priority Mail Express the next morning first thing. I was prepared to respond with additional information on our relationship (that seems to be a regular one) and also with another letter of intent to marry from him and I each that went into more detail if necessary. I hope that helps.
