I wouldn't be sweating with june 25th. It looks like batches from the 18th on are still well stocked and not been picked over hard yet. People like me have been left in the dust to rot. I'm waiting for my date to go over normal processing time, and for them to send me a reply of ....Yeah sit tight we're working on it, then go to my Congressman when they will have some ammunition to use against uscis. Until then we just sit.

I'm not sure if it helped but I actually typed a couple of emails to my congressman. His office said they'll look into it and never received any updates since then, this was back in December 17th. On December 29th I sent them another email asking fro any updates..got no reply back. Checked the forums and saw someone's case updates to change of name and he called and it was an error. Checked my status and it said approved! I asked my Fiancé to check for himself to make sure it says approved because I thought it could of been an error or something and it also said approved. Maybe you guys could try that, especially June filers that haven't been approved yet. Like I said, I'm not sure if I got lucky or my congressman helped even though he hasn't given me any updates ever since I originally contacted him.

I don't know what you guys mean by easy? Or some that require more time? An example of that? I wouldn't consider my case easy, actually I thought ours would of taken longer since its same-sex marriage. On our intent to marry we included proof that its legal to get married in New Mexico. We are still a little nervous that they'll give us a hard time in the embassy of El Salvador due to the fact we are same-sex partners.

Thank y'all and wish y'all the best on your journey!

My congresman had retired and no.one had been assigned to replace him yet. No where to write. No where to go. Feel like a Kenny Loggins song.
