RFE today. Sigh. At least our case has been touched - and from what I read, it moves pretty fast after we return whatever it is they want - I hope it does :) . Do I have to wait for the letter to be sent, or can I go straight to the www.uscis.gov/e-request link?

No just wait to get the letter to come through the mail.

Thanks Kay and Jay. It's going to seem like forever. But..I looked at the numbers either side of mine and they have not been touched, so we should count our blessings that it's been looked at :)

Hey guys I got an RFE today too. I feel like it isn't legitmate because we have an attorney so obviously he knows what he is doing and would not have left something out of the packet. Makes me thing TSC did it on purpose to buy more time - annoying!!

Anyway, I know this question has been asked here several times but I don't remember what was said. Once you get an RFE how long does it take to get the notice in the mail? And once you send the stuff back, how long does it take to get approved?

You get a reply pretty quick. I got mine in 3 to 4 days. It usually takes from 2 to 4 weeks to get it settled. Doesn't matter if lawyer did everything right. They may want to buy some time on it for some reason.. Don't sweat it . At least they have picked up your file and now some work is being done. Congrats.

Glad you guys got some feeback on your files! Even if it is an RFE - at least it is a little progress, it seems

Miter: Special care? What kind of bullshit is this? Incredible...glad your congressman was helpful.

Miter, our K-1 petition was received June 16, 2014 and is still pending. Can you advise how many K-1's you show as approved, rejected, RFE, pending, etc during that time frame?

Many thanks!

Unfortunately not because I type in all of the numbers by hand. That's why I focused on the week that TSC received my petition. If you are interested, send me a message and I'll go over exactly what to do. There are some things you can do to make it easier if you have to do it manually. Have you called the "service" center number to inquire? I called and was able to find out some information that may have been helpful in getting my petition moved for adjudication, although I am still waiting for that NOA2. I also called my Senator and got him involved. His office was extremely helpful.

Thank goodness. We had our RFE through the post - it took almost exactly 7 days, and just like many of the other Filers, it's for a form we've sent them before in the package. So...we'll send it to them again as soon as possible.....we're not going to complain and wait another 3 months while they respond to a proof we already sent it - wow that would be dumb :)
