OOps sorry about the triple post... don't even know how I did that...

This is looking good though ... things are moving...:dancing:

Yeah, and I bet other members will post the good news here as well!! :)

I don't know if it has something to do (I don't think so) but we also had a request to get expedited (He is in the Military and on active duty)... I guess my approval came first!!!

Hello, people,
I filed my K-1 Visa in June, and it was processed in TSC.
In the end of Novenber, we finally heard fro USCIS that we will be getting a notice for RFE.

The RFE we got said we have to send "prove of meeting in 2 years"( which we sent in the very beginning, all the pictures and stuff) and "letter of intent"(which we forgot to sent in the beginning). So i prepared those 2 things again and mail it back to my fiance cuuse he needs to sign on it.

My fiance just got the stuff we were about to send back to USCIS and he will be mailing in a couple of next few days,
HOWEVER, WE GOT A TEXT SAID THAT THEY HAVE UPDATE OUR CASE STATUS AGAIN,
AND SAID THAT THEY ALREADY GOT OUR RFE AND OUR PROCESSING WILL CONTINUE.

How did this happen? We have not even sent anything back yet,
and they already got out RFE? I didnt understand at all.

Does this happen to anyone before? Please help us.
We tried to call them just an hour ago, but they are closed.
If someone has this same experience happened before,
please let me know, I would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!!

Yes I have read a couple of those lately. I think maybe when it gets checked through they realise they already have the information.

Also of some that have and RFE and are being asked for documents they have already sent. It's hard to believe they are 'working too fast' and missing things but yes, there have been similar cases recently. Good thing is that you are on track and should hear soon.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I dont want this be the cause that i did not get NOA2 or got denied, we've been waiting for so long... :(

OMG! We just got our approval!! So from when they received the response to our RFE to NOA2 was 19 days.

I was in Barnes & Noble looking for a new book to get my mind off all this NOA2 stress (geek girl to the core) and I got a series of texts and then the email saying our case was approved!! I haven't even told my fiance yet as it's 2:15AM in London and he's fast asleep!

I'm seeing that others got approvals tonight too -- so congratulations!!!! :)

If you're still waiting, hang in there - it won't be long now, they're really moving things along. Praying and hoping for the remaining June filers to be processed soon - hopefully before the holidays!!

Hi,

If you're really missing the documents I would say it wouldn't be possible to change the status until they receive. I would try to make an appointment at the local office and also give a call to know what's going on (Try to talk to a Tier 2). When I first read your post the first thing that came into my mind was that they received somebody's else RFE and updated to your case (Maybe a similar receipt number or something like that). I have no idea if it is possible to happen but that's what I thought!! Hope everything gets fixed soon! :)

Well, we sent pictures and the copy of my plane tickets as prove of meeting within 2 years, however, in RFE they still ask for it again.

I'm more concern about the letter of intent, i mean if they have found our pictures back( i was guessing they lost those and then found it later on?) it's fine,

but we dont have letter of intent yet, and i dont want them to think its our fault that we didnt send that back when we didnt even have a chance to send it.

why is this happening uggghhhh

Yes it is tricky but I think you need to make sure you have anything on hand that didn't go initially.. make sure your fiance sends their papers urgently. You may hear more in the next day or so. You can always send them (in response to their first request), after all they did ask for documents.

I totally understand!! Maybe they just found your evidences (Pictures and plane tickets) and updated but didn't realize you had something requested in the same RFE and when they process your case they will see the letters are missing and issue a new RFE, maybe a system issue.. Idk...Anyways I would definitely call to make sure what happened and prepare everything they requested to send them (Add delivery confirmation and signature). Try to make an appointment since it can be helpful!!!

I know how much this process can get to our last nerves but your file was touched and soon enough you will have everything clear and your approval! :)

Be positive!!! All the june fillers are almost there!! :D

We filed a request on our case last week but I dont think it's related. We had also sent a letter to our congressman 3 weeks ago, never heard back. Who knows how USCIS works....

I'll keep praying for all other June filers. We might have been approved, but the memory of the painful wait is still very present
