All right called the center and got the same balogna story the rest of you guys have been getting. Sounds like some kind of a mess is going on On a brighter note going to Igor's and looking at California's unapproved list they don't have many at all. They knock these things out quick. What that means is we may get another set of transfers over to California Center. From there you get fast tracked.

but if there is another transfer, it will likely be July and August as they're already processing June. We just never imagined they'd jack it up this bad when they got around to it. . .

I just called USCIS and what they told me made no sense. First they checked my file date and she confirmed that it has been over 5 months. Then she saw that they were filing applications from April and somehow that made my application received on June 9 not outside of the window. I explained that it made no sense for her to confirm that I had been waiting 5 months and then to tell me that since they are only on April I need to wait until they pass my date in order to be outside of the normal window. She told me that until they pass applications from 6/9, I cannot file a service inquiry about my case. They she told me I could make an appointment with an immigration officer for further information. When I went onto the website to make an appointment I had to select the type of appointment and there isn't anything for further information without needing some type of receipt #. Ay dios mio! What a circus! I explained to the lady at USCIS that there are people in June, July and August all at the TSC that have already been approved but she just kept apologizing. Grrrrrrr......

Ok I'm gonna go full Brooklyn on this so just bear with me. This is straight up a load of big and smelly BS. These people at best have a high school education, I know because I have seen what federal jobs requierements are. She has NO CLUE what she is talking about. The rule has ALWAYS been that you can request a status inquiry after 5 months, regardless of what their high on crack supposed processing times are. Five months is when we can start ringing bells, knocking on all doors and being all kind of ridiculous.

The reason why they made those transfers to CSC is BECAUSE people were tired of their incompetency and complained to high heavens to the point that they could not take it anymore. This is absolutely not acceptable. Five months is the breaking point and they can say whatever they like but I say when each of us hits 5 months we have all the right to demand that they do their damn JOB.

I know I have been telling ya'll to be patient and that our time will come and you guys were annoyed by me being so calm but that was only because I was not anywhere near 5 months and neither were the rest of us. My 5 months is next week and I don't care that it's Thanksgiving, they better beieve they will be getting calls, emails and etc from me.

I am done being nice.

Also a huge congratulations to anyone who has received positive news this week, even if it's an RFE I am holding my fingers crossed for you and we will get through this!

Rant over :)

I'm able to see my case when I log in.it hasn't been "touched" since June 26th. I still can't get into checking the status manually. I had a dream that I checked the status aND it went through but it still said initial review. Even in my dreams I can't get approved lol

Same thing and it hasn't been touched since 27th. Looks like you and I are gonna be waiting buddies lol. Man these people really are starting to piss me off. When I do my job I have to complete work quickly AND efficiently and they just sit there scratch their whatever and drink coffee.

Dohan, I am with you guys on this as well. My 5 months happen next week too and as soon as that hits, I am going to blow up the phones, but everytime I call, I get the automated system, I dont know how to even get to a customer service rep, can you please give me the steps to do so? I am just totally pissed off at this whole scenario.

When you call, you need to follow the instruction to your case, but press the options like you don't have your ID number in hand.

basically it's press 1 (english) press 2 (inquiry about your case) press 2(don't have the number) press 2 (didn't find it) ;) (not that I call often!)

Ahhh I called 3 times today. First woman told me I could file a status inquiry at 5 months and that is in 6 days. Then I called and asked to be sent to a tier 2 officer. He was so rude and told me I had to wait 3 more months. When I said I was told by jenifer (first woman) that I can file an inquiry at 5 months, he talked to me like I was retarded and just kept repeating that I am in normal processing time. Then I called the 3rd time and got another woman named Katie. She said they are now processing April 4th petitions. I said to her that was as of September 30th and she acted like I had just told her the cure to world hunger. She was so confused aND had no idea what I was talking about. She said no where on her page does it say as of September 30th but she said she wwas looking at the offical chart on the uscis website. Then when I told her about the first call and the status inquiry at 5 months, she said she doesn't know what that first woman was saying and doesn't know where she got her information from but she was wrong. And that's when I flipped. I asked if any of them even communicate and how they can keep giving people different answers. I then said they were all a waste of a paycheck and a joke of a service. I also told the tier 2 officer to stop lying to me and saYing the petitions are processed in the order they're recieved because that's not true. All in all, I was informed that my case has not even been started yet. 5 months of waiting and they haven't even begun to process it yet. Now I regret not saying more stuff to them when I had the chance.

JolyDan, I am from Buffalo, NY. Which congressman did you write to? I tried calling the office for my congressman only to be greeted by his subordinate who told me that the congressman cant be of any help at this time as he is busy with election fundraisers. I was like, great!

Congressman Bill Owens from the 21st district. If it doesn't work we'll try the senator ;)

So I've been stalking USCIS twitter and look what I found:

http://www.uscis.gov/news/form-i-751-workload-transfer-vermont-service-center-california-service-center

Apparently work from the Vermont Service Center having to do with removal of conditions from GC has been transferred to the CSC. So there ya have it folks, we legit have ONE normally functioning service center in all of USA.

I guess it could mean they wont transfer any (July/Aug) TSC K1s across as some people have been suggesting... depending on the volume of these ones from VSC??

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

oh God

as you said guys probably our files haven't been touched yet, there were somewhere while the agents of USCIS are so busy of something else, maybe drinking coffee or gossiping God only knows.

and to know anything about our cases is like revealing top top security information and they're spinning around trying not to give us any piece of information.

for us its been since June 6th

I don't want to piss you off but I think they're going to make us waiting for long long time
