I called four times today and got four different responses. The most recent response there is absolutely nothing they can do until the website is updated. So I asked if you can even show our current status, how are we going to know if we've been approved? And the supervisor said I don't have an answer for you, we just handle basic questions and tell you what your online status says.

which means we don't care for you people

wait for the routine

it's matter of waiting and it's only one year

frustration

Congratulations!! Usually an RFE is something simple and is resolved easily. You can get a roa2 in 2 to 4 weeks and you're on the radar now!! This is good news.

I can only imagine the frustration and the worry but look at the positive: they have looked at your file AND contacted you. Whatever it is, you and your better half are one step closer to being together. You have this community to support you, you have your fiance, and your whole life ahead of you. Whatever it is, it can be figured out. Just take a deep breath. You got this!

That's good news really. You are being given the opportunity to fix or supply something that you may have missed. If you have it on hand you can flip it back to them within a few days and they get moving soon after.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Yes I read on another link its not fixed yet.. but no indication of when it might be... just leaving us to stay lost in space.

Hopefully it wont be too long.... :clock:

I just got my approval notice!!! I really thought I would get an RFE. I tried checking the case status last night, but I kept getting an error message so I updated my sign in info. Still can not believe it. I hope everyone gets approvals very soon, and I will keep checking in on this forum. :)

Mine is still saying the same, hehe I got really excited when I saw your message and went and checked right away. Thanks for the encouragement though and I'll leave it until next week to check. My NOA1 is 6/25 so my turn will come.

Congratulations to the new approvals! I am also having trouble checking my case status at the new and "improved" website. I just called the number they provide and an automated system let me know I was still in Initial Review <_<

flying down to see my love again later this month, hoping for an approval beforehand...

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days
