Can someone explain to me why visa requests from the Phillipines get preferrential treatment? Filter out just Phil K-1 requests and look at it!! They get noa2's in 2 to 3 months while the rest of us wait 6 months. That's bullshit!

These cases are expedited because of the typhoon that happened, it's a special case. I think some cases from Ukraine might get expedited too after a request because there is a civil war there.

It's not bullshit. They get expedited because it's kind of impossible to be in those places at the moment.

Stop sipping on the haterade :(

Hello, Everyone!

We just got approved! Woohooo!!

Congrats on the approval but you really should note that your case is a Philippine one. Otherwise you just give a big false signal to everyone else who checks this thing every day hoping for a June approval. Probably wasn't on purpose but you have a lot of anxious people on here.

I am a July filer so I'm watching June closely. I think it's funny there is a thread now that explicitly is for "July TSC Non-Philippine"

Oh because a typhoon hits that's an expeditable situation but a coup de tat isn't? Hummm... A typhoon comes and is gone but my fiancee is listening to gunshots all night for a couple of weeks. Yeah you can say I'm on the hateraid when California people get expedited in 2 months and here in Texas it's 6. It's bullshit pure and simple.

Here's something to make you boil even more. If you look at the list of visa types that qualify for expedites for those in the Philippines, K1 is not one of them. There is also a very large number of Philippine applications, compared to those from the other countries. Funny thing, that...

News Flash people...LIFE IS NOT FAIR

I'm happy for anyone that gets approved, spitting negativity on here is kind of useless since we are all working on a common goal. Some get a little luckier than others...such is life. Focus on kindness and support of everyone...negativity will just bring you and others reading your post down.

Good luck everyone and continue to stay strong and remember that true love conquers all!

I see what you are saying wbeem. I"m going back to the mindset of six months for noa2, and just don't expect anything less. NOA1 was june 5th like a few others here. It's a little disheartening when i look at Igor's list though and see 132 other people have gotten their noa2's from texas service center who got an noa1 after me. It seems certain countries do get preferential treatment for what who knows. It is what it is.

Ok June filers I just finished a good call with USCIS. They told me that they are now processing NOA1's from March 4th. Since my application was 5 months old and I raised some serious hell with them I am now in for expedited service. I was given an expedited number, and told my application now will be processed within 30 days, and I should receive something in the mail within a week or so. Don't sit there and take the anymore June filers. There is no reason that people in the California service center should get noa2's 4 to 6 months faster than us. I'm not a second class citizen, and neither are any of you. Call uscis get someone on the line and raise hell. Squeaky wheels get grease.

Folks, any frustrations or complaints that any of us have should be taken up with the USCIS and not individual applicants. The US government or the USCIS authorities decide who will get expedited. If you are not in the category to be automatically expedited, file a request and submit evidence why you believe your case should be expedited. Argue for your cause, no one is stopping you.

I completely agree that it is unfair, and I still do not understand what the CSC does that TSC does not seem to able to duplicate because clearly CSC is working significantly quicker. However, again, this is not the fault of individual applicants. We are on this site to seek and provide, support and advice, not to attack people and spit venom.

Let us all take a deep breath and collectively chill out. Our turns will come.

You don't have to be Dohan. You are past your adjudicated timeline date already. Look at your timeline. If you call uscis and raise enough beef like I just did I'm sure you will get an expedited number like I just did. The agent called the Texas Center and I was on hold a few minutes. My new expedited number looks like this: T-1E ten numbers then TSC I have a funny feeling the E in the number means expedite and from TSC at the end. You can sit patiently or you can demand serivce like what California people get. I'm not a second class citizen. I've waited patiently for 5 months. I only deserve what other people are getting like in California Service Center.

I don't know this will make you feel better or worse. I hope at least it offers some comfort regarding others filing after you and being approved before you.

Something didn't add up with the TSC approvals. About a week ago I started going in every day and clicking on to each and every timeline of the most recent 15 TSC approvals. On an average day, only 3 out of 15 members were actually processed at TSC. There was one day last week when not one out of the 15 recently approved petitions were actually TSC. All were CSC (mostly transfers and the rest, people who had filled out their timelines incorrectly). This is the reason why the TSC filers on Visa Journey are seeing such a jump in our estimated approval dates, and why the are so incorrect.

I hope this doesn't make you feel any worse, but it does offer some explanations. I have not looked at the approvals for the last two days, just because I can't. It is too soul destroying to see it.
