Hi everyone,

I got 221 today from consulate at montreal for not having my fiancé's 2013 tax return. He's employed with a company and I had the w2 and a detailed letter from his employer but they said I had that one missing document. I'm already listed as AP on the website. I submitted the tax return and my passport the same day at the loomis branch in montreal.

I'm a Canadian born applicant. Has anyone else had this happen and can you give me any timeline information you have seen? (We're supposed to be getting married aug 15, 2014 in the states.

Thanks.

Ok, thanks for the information! My interview was Thursday. (June 12). So 7-8 weeks will put me at aug 8... That'll be cutting it close. I guess we wait and see. Did you try to do anything to 'speed up' the process or is it really just a wait and see situation.
