my husband applied f2a for me through consulate processing. Our priority date is July 5th 2013. My husband became US citizen on Oct 9th and my lawyer sent the naturalization certificate to upgrade our file to CR1.

We received an RFE on December 22nd, they asked for a different format of marriage certificate which we sent and they received it on Jan 6th, 2014.

Since then I dont have any updates, as per my lawyer...I130 approval can take up to one year. I did a service request and spoke with tier2 in May and was advised that file is with an officer.

I did another service request to to confirm if my file was upgraded to CR1 or not since I never got a notification and since F2a retrogressed last month.

Not getting a satisfied answer or proper answer, advised to wait another 60 days. Got an email saying that my file hasnt been upgraded since its not with an officer and no one has looked at it. If that's true, how did I get an RFE?

Should my husband get an infopass appointment? My lawyer says he cant do anything until one year passes which is july 2014.

Please help
