Hi guys just wanted to vent a little.

I filed my husband's AOS papers around the end of March--so it seems that most people are receiving approvals regarding their combo cards (EAD/Advance Parole) around 60 days or so.

It is going on day 78 for us and still nothing. I did call USCIS earlier this week and requested an expedite but was told it may take 15-30 days for a response. I might as well just sit and wait the full 90 days.

Hubby is so ready to work and I am ready for him to as well--he has been here since Dec and its been somewhat strained with only one income to support two people.

I am trying to remain calm--Im hoping the card will come any day now but Im just sooooo anxious!!! :ranting:

3/21/14: AOS packet mailed
3/24/14: Packet received at field office (IL)
3/25/14: NOA1 I-765/I-131
3/27/14: NOA1 I-485
3/31/14: NOA1 date for I-485/I-765/I-131 (via text/email)
4/22/14: Biometrics completed

6/9/14: Called USCIS (over 75 days) to file an expedite

Sorry to hear about your frustration. :( But as far as I've read, it can definitely reach up to 90 days. What does uscis.gov website say? (although I know it can be sometimes iffy). Hope you get an update within the week.

In the mean time, your husband can start checking out job openings and join online job search websites like Linkedin and see how his professional background compares to the job market right now. I am actually having some issues, as my background is very specific. I had been actively job hunting for 3 weeks now. Best for your husband to have a jumpstart. He can attend job interviews and only start the job when he gets the EAD card. :)
