I contacted my congressman asking them to make an inquiry. Was approved 23 days after the congressman responded to me about my inquiry. So 23 days as of the date of the letter from my congressman. Maybe a nudge from your congressman's or senator's immigration liason may help. I so wish you the best of luck with everything. You can call the USCIS and ask for a second tier CO but they may not be able to provide you with any information other than a simple yes or no.

Thank you!

The email says the following:

"Your case is currently under review and is actively being processed by an officer. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter".

I hope to have a definitive answer before 60 days!

Something you may wish to do is to start gathering the information required for the interview at the Embassy or Consulate. Anything to keep yourself occupied. Start planning the wedding. Look for anything that may help you get through this. Time is what you have and be productive with it.

The kindness we give to others may never be recognized by the ugly souls we encounter in the vast jungle of humanity, but what we give will echo brilliantly in the smiles of those who have received it.

Suerte.

Hi, to do the e-request is easy. You have to do it in the web uscis.gov and click to the link: e-request and follow the instruccions. It's very easy. After 18 days they approved my case. I received the NOA2 yesterday.

Good Luck.

Hi All,

On June 11th, 2014 at 8:45 P.M. after 7 months and 20 days we finally received our NOA2 Via text, and email from the USCIS. I wanted to be specific for all those VJ members stil waiting for a response. It should help to know that the USCIS will text and email you even at 8:45 at night. Now that could be some kind of delayed transmission on the part of the phone carrier or something else. But never the less, that's when we got it. I can't tell you how happy I am. Last night I swear fireworks and the sound of Louis Armstrong singing It's a Wonderful World were similtaneously going off in my head. My fiance almost fell off his chair as I told him on Skype. I have so much to do it's wonderful to be moving forward. I will be updating my timeline shortly.

Glad to see another person from Maryland was approved! :) Congrats to you!
