If you didn't mean that Google is going to go extinct why would you use a metaphor that unambiguously says exactly that.

The problem here is one of poor English literacy. You meant one thing and wrote something else.

Google already blocks PPC ads for guns and gun parts, the stories you posted are not a sea change, nor does it mean that searches are being restricted. Although if you want to discuss that point, Google does restrict searches on pirate media content and child pornography. Presumably you'll agree that this isn't a bad thing?

BTW if you look up "Joogle" you may see that has some questionable search results. You may not know that, but maybe you should.

Yep, good job, now let's hope that you know what ignore means, what it does NOT mean is constantly making spiteful and thinly veiled insults about how 'someone' is trolling and ruining threads. What it means is completely ignoring everything I post and not referring to it in any way shape or form. Let's hope we don't get too much of the "I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site."

Oh, and an fyi, it's really not necessary to announce who is on your ignore list, you can just go and do it.

I've not mentioned monster-C or read a single thing he has posted since deciding his posts no longer had any merit (feels great!). I mentioned it in this thread to make it clear I don't throw just anybody in ignore, just those that show they tend to have a percentage of posts that serve no purpose other than to be negative. It's not about trusting myself (I know why I did it more than you know why I did it so you can trust me on this) - it is for the same reason I don't stare into the toilet after going to the bathroom - some things are not worth looking at.

You can look at it and admire it, but just don't mention it here. The last poop topic just mysteriously vanished into thin air.

I would also suggest any use of the number 2 in done a clear and unambigous manner to avoid confusion, and maybe look into having new user post counts go directly from number 1 to number 3 to avoid offending anyone unnecessarily.

Hey, I ignore plenty of people, including Monster C, I just don't need a forum feature to do it for me. I just don't quote him or reply. That said, I don't feel the need to tell people (or him) that I'm doing it - nor do I publicly talk about people I'm ignoring as if they're not there. IMO that's a form of antagonism/baiting.

If you're going to ignore someone, let actions speak louder than words.
