I learned that the rotisserie chicken in the grocery store is a loss leader, because studies show that the smell of cooking chicken makes people hungry and buy more groceries.

The oven has a spit in it?

It's also a loss leader because it reduces waste. Sam's Club sells rotisserie chicken for less than you can buy the same chicken raw. Why? Because they are using chicken that they would otherwise have to toss out because it is expired.

Ooh, the plot thickens. Groceries seem to be an interesting business.

They should just close Current Events and OT.

But I like to talk about groceries!

Why?

If you can't even post words that are used on the cartoon channel, then there's really no point in having a current events forum.

Who's 'they'?

I've already done enough hand holding for you in the last few days. If you can't figure it out, well, then.

Yes, VJ has to be careful not to offend the rulers of the new caliphate.

That's what google does, apparently.

Hey, I'm not the only person who wondered it. Judging by other responses.

The aim of the admin here is to maximise site traffic and while ensuring that the site appears on search engines. Why do you think they should close the sub forum?

I think someone has to suggest OT and all is closed every few pages, it's probably a requirement.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
